What does everyone think of the character Sepiroth?
He is the most well known villains in a franchise that didn't feature him in even a sixth of all of the games.
Love him
Hate him
Everyone is bound to have something to say about him.
Even if that something is a comment about the size of his sword.

What does everyone think of the character Sepiroth? I think he's probably my favorite video game villain. Probably. I found a stick longer than his sword one time. Then it vanished. My guess is that it went into the Lifestream.  |

He has some of the most epic battle music ever. He's pretty much pure evil, what with him trying to hit the planet with a massive meteor that would most likely kill millions, perhaps billions of people in order to become a god somehow. (Right? Last time I played the game I was no more than 12, so I don't remember what he hoped to accomplish by hitting the planet with a meteor.) And he never shows any remorse for anything he does (that I remember). I would go into more detail, but I'm busy coming up with a good reason not to go into more detail... |

May I inquire why you dont like it? Well...... 1. I'm just REALLY not a big fan of action RPG's. Not just KH, but most in general. 2. The storyline just.......bothers me......i'm not sure why, it just does. 3. I just hate this game for all the praise it gets, whereas TRUE good games, like Gotcha Force, are shunned(Gamespot review?) three games that top that, in my opinion, are: LOZ Ocarina of Time (gets the credit it deserves, cant wait for 3ds remake on June 19!) LOZ Majora's mask (largely shunned, hey, people just didnt like the 3 day system. As for me, I love it. Still dont understand HOW that banker can recognize you when he's never seen you before in his life.) Paper Mario (remembered more than Majora's mask, but not appreciated as much as it should be.) These four games(included gotcha force) should get the respect KH does, in my opinion. KH can go crawl up in a cave and die, for all I care. Oh, so you hate the games because you think other games deserve more recognition? I can say without a shadow of a doubt that kingdom hearts is light! all of the games you just mentioned save gotcha force get FAR MORE PRAISE THAN KH! I know what you mean when you hate a game because proper games dont get the recognition it deserves, but kingdom hearts is not a good example. games like call of duty, fallout, the legend of zelda series, and just about every movie tie in and party game is stealing the spotlight from good games like KH. kingdom hearts is a cult hit, not a game that everyone friggin loves for the sake of it, ya know, like COD! (I hate call of duty so much...) so while you have the opinion to dislike kingdom hearts, I dont think its right to say that its over hyped, lots of people dont like this game. I mean, seriously, you thought that LEGEND OF F****** ZELDA TIME WAS 'shunned' by comparison to kingdom hearts! I'm sorry but only gotcha force is a valid game in that list, but gotcha force isn't getting shunned due to kingdom hearts, which also happens to be another not particularly popular game. on the sephiroth note, I have never played 7 (dont hurt me) but I know plenty about him. I can't say much about Sephiroth since I don't know alot of his backstory and most of the screen time I saw him in was either Advent Children, Kingdom Hearts II, and Dissidia. All I can say so far is that he has a pretty cool backstory of what I read so far (him going insane over realizing his mother is an alien and stuff like that), I also thing his is a really cool character with an awesome katana, awesome attacks (supernova comes to mind), awesome theme, awesome manner of speaking, awesome angel wing. He is also a character that is really difficult to understand what he's thinking (in a creepy way). He is also a really manipulative bastard towards Cloud and other characters (even to characters from other Final Fantasy series according to Dissidia). He is still probably not my favorite Final Fantasy villain but he is still pretty awesome.

Of the guys who play videogames at my school they do mainly talk about CoD (And Halo). And from what I understand that is not that uncommon for other schools too. Nonono, EVERYONE in my school without a brain (so, most boys) wont stop talking about COD. Even thouh it sucks. I do like halo, though, but thats where I draw the line. anyway, what I was confused about was the fact that every boy in beamgunners school not only loved COD, but KH at the same time. thats what I thought he ment, anyawy, I know that anyone of the COD worpshippers in my school would never even go near a copy of KH. |

Im sure a thread for this exists somewhere, but i cant be bothered to find it Anywho, great game. I have started to replay it recently because it is one of my favorite ff games, the only other being four. Which i plan to get on ds eventually. I beat the gba remake so the ds remake is logically next. I really havent played any of the newer installments in the series after ff10 but to be honest, the plots have seemed rather stupid after ten. And i honestly didnt enjoy 10 all that much. I mean yea ten was cool. But it had too much going on ;P anywho I am a failure at these games too, because i forget where the plot dictates you to go. IE i started a play around a week ago and hadnt saved. Went into a dungeon that i didnt need to enter and got utterly obliterated by the monsters. I think i walked four feet in the door too... forgot to save.... whole playthrough lost. Retrying now XD fortunately i was plotwise only at the second dungeon anyways so not anything was really lost. |

It seems to be a bit broken, but it's not entirely unworkable. You should probably try it next time. Anyway,You don't really need to. XI's an MMO, XII I'm pretty sure had a really awkward battle system, and XIII's linear which is an awful thing for an RPG to be. And I guess XIV also exists, but it's also an MMO so whatever. Maybe look into XV once it comes out, see if that one looks interesting, but don't worry about the four six before it. |

Is that what that white void next to he search bewton is for? XD Yea, ive seen prerelease screenshots and 14 or 15 or whatever the new non mmo one is looks cool. But i hate the battle system they introduced in the one with that van kid that 13 uses too. Either make it an action game or use the turn based format. No need for all the running around and extra fluff crap like that in battle. I get that it was to "eliminate the boredom of entering commands and waiting for their exectution and repeat" or whatever stupid reason square invented for that system. But frankly i enjoy entering commands amd watching them be executed. It worked for 10 bloody games. More than that if you count rereleases and sequels. So why fix what wasnt broken? Anywho, i havent ever fully completed anything after four, so i have plenty to do in the series until the new one if i so choose. Which i probably wont because meh. But anywho three is great. The job system is the bestzors. Ftw forever! And im gonna actually not get bored of grinding and finnish without an action replay this time. Mind you i only cheated against the last boss, but still i havent felt right about it..... okay so thats a lie. I <3 cheats XD anywho i plan to legitly finish it this time. Plus i want to try different jobs on my characters. Without actually altering my first playthrough people. Because i have 3 save files to use so why not. Also to whatever mod merged these threads thankyou because you are great at what you do. And i appreciate it. Now imma end this post before i ramble for 3 pages of text |
