As most ps3 users should know, the past few weeks psn has been down and 50 million of its users personal information was hacked. As of today May 15, 2011 psn is finally back in North America. As a part to make sure users stolen account data can not be used to access their account, Sony has sent a new update which forces users to change their account password via e-mail. This is where my problem comes in. When i logged in to my e-mail i did receive a message today about my password. The message said that my password has already been changed and verified without any of my action. Now either i have not yet received the actual message that lets me change my password, or somehow my password has been changed to a password i do not know without my action. I would like to know if any other ps3 users on this site have had the same problem and if any of you could help me figure this out so i can get back on psn. If in the end i cant, i guess ill just have to create an entirely new account.

Sorry can't help. But I will try and brighten your day with a sarcastic joke.
So we finally killed Bin Laden. It is amazing what Americans can do when the Play Station Network is down.

I don't have PSN so I don't know too much about it, but I think you should email Sony about that. Or wait it out and see if other people have that problem.
