You can read up to the middle of Yellow on OneManga.com under Pokemon Special, unless I'm mistaken.
The rest that's out, you can get downloaded and I have all the links for those interested.

I started at onemanga. After I finished all of those [which goes up to Yellow Arc], I went to Manga Fox (they have up to the end of Emerald I think), which they switched around to read left to right for some reason, sometimes goes out of order, and also switched Blue & Green's names.  But it's a whole lot better than nothing. ;D |

and didn't get like some of my friends' parents...they believed all the "Pokemon = Satan Worship" nonsense and even burned their Trading Card Game decks. Hmm. I was just doing some looking into this issue. They have some interesting basis for it, but most of it was taking it too far. What little kids decide to look into how kadabra bends its spoons, and liiiiiiiiiiitle symbols here and there. Actually, the issues were mainly with the cards, as yeah people get obsessed with them. Yugioh is more common though... I don't think most of it concerns us... we DO play other games...  |

Sigh...smelling everything, as usual.  Critical hits seem more fatal in the 4th gen games than the others for some reason.  Marge just got buuuuuurned ;D *currently reading more manga* |

Critical hits seem more fatal in the 4th gen games than the others for some reason. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Something's up when a level 2 Bidoof, doing exactly one point of damage per tackle, suddenly criticals and brings Shinx down from yellow HP to dead. Maybe Nintendo wanted to add a further level of ways for the computer to blatantly cheat luck to battle. Because damage-plus-maybe-status attacks, Paralysis, waking up from Sleep, snapping out of confusion, "low" accuracy OHKOs and powerful attacks, and accuracy/evasion changing abilities don't give the computer enough of a cheap advantage. ;D sometimes goes out of order It's worth mentioning that the out-of-order stuff isn't really the translation's fault; it's like that in the Japanese. This is because Pokemon Special is published across several magazines at once in Japan, with different magazines focusing on different story hooks- for example, in R/S, Ruby's entire story ran in one magazine while Sapphire's ran in another, with occasional crossovers. When all the chapters are compiled in paperback format, they have to basically mix and match to get the best possible continuity, but there'll always be some hiccups in that. Also, minor spoiler- Platinum does get a named character eventually, but it takes a while. That's all I'll say on that. |
