Hi! I guess I'm new here, but I'm not new to gotcha. Me and my friends have been playing for a good few years and we've come upon a sort of system and I'd love to know you guys' opinions on competitive rules. First, the point limit we've come up with is 2200 because that's the amount of points you get in Special Mode. We banned Neo G Red right off the bat and later banned Death Borg Sigma II because of it's insane power for the price. G Red is kind of frowned upon and the Walking Bomb and Death ICBM are unofficially banned. We banned the other signature borgs (Isaac, Vlad ect) because they are only improvements on other borgs and some of us didn't have them. We figured even if we did have them they would unnecessarily make the borgs they were based on obsolete. Also, we only play 2 on 2 since 1 on 1 usually is more button mashing than strategy.

I am a fan of 3000 points, 1v1 all random, if you get any version of G Red, Neo G Red or G Black, you stand still and let your opponent destroy you. Though that's not particularly competitive.
For a proper comp game, I'd play 1v1, 3000 points per team (3000 allows for larger borgs without making small ones obsolete), banned: all G Borgs, Galactic Emporer and all silver/gold/shadow borgs. Also banned: debuff transformation borgs, as they make the game too one sided in 1v1.
For 2v2, it'd be the same, except with a limit of around 2500, increasing dependency on team cohesion because bringing all large, powerful borgs will be a waste of your team's GF energy. Debuff transformation borgs would be limited to one per team. Otherwise, same banlist as the 1v1.

Also, I forgot to say, we banned having more than one of any borg on your team. EDIT: What are your views on Cyber Ninja? Should we make it so he costs a little more against our point limit?
