The World Cup

So it's begun! As i post this England is about to go against the USA. What are your thoughts on The World Cup?

I'm not into football/soccer at all. But what i do have to say is that England will probably kick USA's arse ;D Joooke, they are all good

Round one is over! England scored a great goal.. And then the England Goal Keeper just let in some crappy shot xD

I don't follow sports, but from what I understand the US team sucks. Even us Americans know that.

To quote one of my Facebook friends, this is how you know USA is still not elite, everywhere in America, people are proud of a tie, everywhere in England, people are planning to kill the team.

The Football World Cup. The most frikking pointless thing ever.

It actually annoys me that people think I care. Even if they're just advertisments! No, I don't think it's right that if England does well, and I quote "the whole country's happy". It's just some random dudes, most of whom aren't even English who kick a ball about and get payed stupid amounts. When we see the mental health world cup, and the rubbish collecting world cup, and the accountancy world cup all get as much hype as the football world cup, then, MAYBE then, I'll be content.

BUT i don't watch the world cup
i got better times to manage my time

i do watch it when my dad watches

Actually, Team USA is supposed to be a very strong contender this year.

Of course, that could just be people in England making up excuses ;D

Doesn't look like Greece has a hope in hell this year unfortunately. They sucked against South Korea

I love football ( soccer ) and I love the world cup because of the passion of the fans i am trying to watch as many games as I can but the times could have been a bit better for me because I have to pick up Lucy up from school and i miss the first 20 mintues of the second game
