Anyone on her done it before?
If yes then what did you do and for how long did you do it?
If no then why? Does something put you off? Do you not have the time?
I did my first day ever of Volunteering today. I started at 9am and finished at 4pm. But i had to allow both 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening for travel and preparation.
It's the same again tomorrow and Thursday for this project. Then i can do more in future.

If you mean forced-to-work-for-free-because-it-could(but never does)-lead-to-work, then yes, been doing tons of that throughout the years.
Otherwise no, because this place is so peaceful and quiet, nothing really happens around here.

Guess you haven't done any ;D The Volunteering i am doing wasn't forced upon me, or mentioned for me to do in order to maybe get a job. I chose to do it myself, not for the possibility of a job, but to make use of my time rather then sitting about all day not looking for work. Also it will look good on my CV when i do apply for work. It's fun to do because it enables me to get out and see places. Camden may only be about 5 miles from me, but I've never had to go their until i was taken today on the way back. It looks great with all the shops. Also I've met like 10 people in the past 2 days. We may not be anything more then acquaintances to each other but if i continue to help, i'll probably get friendly with them at some point. Also so far i've worked with 3 hot girls ;D |

It seems both my brother and one of my friends are interested in joining me sometime. Sadly my bro seems to want his girl friend to do it too, but she wont because she's lazy. Also i don't think it would be good for her, it's too much work. However, with luck, my friend will join me this week. I am about to email the Volunteer place to try and see if i can book us for Thursday. Wish me luck!
