True, true. She's really a lot of fun if you use her against death borgs. It's like a game of survival. It actually reminds me of some games where "upgrades" (For Example, the longer range sword attacks) are optional, but you don't take them, leaving you with the basic stuff. (In this case, decently short range melee attacks and a semi-decent jump and dash ability. Pretty fun.

My name may have changed, but my favorite's still Antares. Sirius simply bores me.
And that's why they once called me. . .
Antares Commander
. . .
Close runner-ups include Tao Master, Ultimate Cannon, G-Black, and Revolver Gunman.

My favorite borg. It is hard to choose one. After many hours of debating with myself I have a list of runner ups to my favorite borg. Death Bomb- because he is just so funny to use. Beam Gunner- His ranged attacks can be put into some strong combos. Neo G Red- Versatile and good in near any fight. G Black- Neo G red but cooler. Demon Wing - A hilariously strong borg. Now my favorite borg of all time is.... Cyber Machine Suzaku! His entire appearance is amazing and he looks so cool. Also me and my best friend love to combo Cyber Mars and Cyber Atlas just to shout: "OPTIMUS PRIME! BUMBLEBEE! COMBINE!!"

I feel like one of these summers I should go through this thread and tally up what everyone has said their favorite borgs are (and see who's posted more than once)… But… that's a lot of work just to have an unofficial popularity contest. Especially after we had that official one.

I recently tried out Tou Master. Or Toe Master. Sword guy. Swordrack stabby throwing guy. Has a pizza box for a hat.
I've never played such a hero that is so easy to use, yet so uninteresting.
Most of the time, you throw a sword, you won't miss. I'm not sure exactly how much damage these swords do, I intend to find out later. But they very rarely miss is my point. I'm pretty sure you have about 5 or 4 swords on your rack, and you can throw all of them with about a half a second delay. They fly to a certain angle over your target, and fly right at them. In a way, it's kind of tactical. If one enemy is too close, kick it away, time a sword right so it'll hit juuust when they're vulnerable, and then get away.
He's a godsend for anyone that hates Jelly Divers. Timed properly you can get out of a bubble, or keep him stunned long enough to make its timer run out entirely. Lots of fun.
Sadly, his melee isn't very good and his shot has terrible range from what I can tell. I use it mostly when I'm running at someone to use melee for an extra bit of damage. He's really just throwing swords, waiting, and then throwing more swords.
Overall, I give him a 7/10.
So, opinions?

I'm surprised to hear you say that you can't miss with his swords, because I have the exact opposite experience. I can't get them to hit an opponent to save my (borgs) life.
I know what you mean about ease of use yet boring to play. I feel that way about Kung-fu Master. And Star/Planet Hero. And Cyber Mars. And fortress borgs. These borgs just kind of play themselves.

If you miss with him you're either too far away or too close. The swords DO travel to the target, but they only go to that certain angle, and then fly at the target no matter the obstacle. Take note of terrain that they could get behind quickly.

No, I understand that. No matter what though I can't seem to get them to hit.

Maybe it depends on how far the stages you're playing on are in the game? Around the first half of the game the enemies barely dodge, but later on they'll even dodge point blank instant melee attacks. Just a thought... But I've had plenty of Tao Master's swords dodged, too.

Not to mention that people move around a lot differently than the AI does. When I'm in multiplayer everyone is air dashing all the time. In story mode you barely see that.

So, fitting in with my quest to play Borgs I don't usually use, and having had my fill of sword-throwing, I delved into the frantic world of Nurse Borgs.
And I loved every second of it.
It's a lot of fun to be a healer. Running across a chaotic battlefield to give that one shot preventing your partner from being obliterated. You feel important, maybe even more so than when you're a big front-line fighter. Sometimes you have a partner that just down right has a better Borg than you, usually in free mode or whatever you call it. Sometimes I'm just watching a friendly Sasuke on low health struggling to last against a greater force, and I feel bad I can't do anything about it. The Nurse Borg let's me do that.
The one with the brown hair and yellow outfit, to be specific (I'm horrible with names) is fun to play. Cool design and I think she heals for more.
Yes, their shots are terrible and the melee is somewhat unusuable, but the heal and just how important you are alone makes up for that. Makes me pick Mana for my partner a lot more, come to think of it.
Next up, I'm thinking of picking a certain death borg to talk about. We'll see.

I love the beam samurai (though he has many shortcomings). I love the ranged-melee ability (and he looks cool). I also really like metal hero and normal ninja. Metal hero is incredible for taking out fortress borgs and dragons, and not too bad against most other borgs. And normal ninja because of his simplicity and agility. It may take a while to beat something down, but he is incredibly easy to dodge with.

Hello, Elegy. Please introduce yourself via the introduction thread.
As far as my favorite Borg, it's either Panther Robot or Beam Gunner.

Teleportation Ninja: cause if anyone i would want to coplay him cause it seems possible and hes awesome looking. You must be quite the handyman if his outfit seems possible to you XD (I don't even know the basics of sewing or woodworking so pretty much everything is impossible for me :3) DO IT! And I believe Demon blade blue guy is Blade Wing? :3 I guess Demon Samurai also fits the description in a way, but Blade Wing is just awesomer ... xD And welcome to GFF, Elegy! Be careful of the flying buffalo wing monsters!

Never fear! Beamigo is here! *pumping mileage out of this image* Well, that (kind of) answers the favorite borg question.Though Beamigo doesn't quite capture the glory of Beam Gunner's gigantic camcorder melee attack :3 I just realised you said blue cheese. Beamigo probably doesn't shoot blue cheese. *dead by flying buffalo wings*
