Here's my view...
PC's are the better as far as i know.
Laptops are portable, smaller and look better.
But PC's can be upgraded in hardware easier then laptops, they can be fixed by people that don't know much about computers (Like me, but i cant fix a laptop) They tend to be better with stats compared to laptops and something i recently realized is the value. My PC broke but i still had a mouse, keyboard and Monitor for another PC. With a laptop, i cant keep these things if it breaks. But i still want one more then a PC ;D
(Im not saying all PC's are better then all laptops. But for some people, PC's are better for them, but they still buy a Laptop =S)

I'd pick a PC over a Laptop any day. They're more reliable, and more fun to spend time by and you always now where it is. A laptop you would have to look for the whole time.
+ I'm not fond of anything wireless.

PC. I don't really go to a lot of places that often and I spend alot of my time at home, so a laptop wouldn't be that good of a finachiel (I'll spam the person who says that's a typo!) investment.

I vote laptop, all the way. I have one, and even though I never really leave my house for anything, it's still way more useful than the PC I used before I got it. For one thing, it's mine exclusively, so I'm the only one who uses it. I don't have to wait for anyone to finish whatever pointless thing they're doing on the internet so that I can do some pointless thing on the internet. Plus it makes things easier for my naturally secretive side, since no one will be poking around in my files and seeing the, uh... documents on my hard drive. And I can use it anywhere in my house, which is good for me, since it makes it far easier for me to, for example, get cheat codes for Twisted Metal 4 (a rather disappointing game, by the way) off of the internet and put them in without writing them down or trying to memorize them. Even better, I can use it as the massive-capacity iPod I've always wanted since I filled up my 8GB one. It's just better for me.

Well, i use a laptop, but i dont really form much opinion on them. the only thing that i prefer on PC (or macs in my case) is the mouse.

I prefer a desktop over a laptop.
I hate how cramped the laptop feels i.e. squished keyboard right underneath the screen. My desktop is set up with the monitor slightly above my eye level and the keyboard about a foot under and I just can't get used to how the laptop feels. I also prefer a mouse over a touchpad, but that is easily fixed by buying a USB mouse for my laptop.
The only reason I use my laptop is because I don't want to bring a desktop to college.
