CHoose your favorite mechas of Anime and/or games! The limit is six, so think carefully.
My voting shall go to the following Mechas for these reasons:
King Gainer - Because he's the only mecha manly enough to do something as sissy-like as "Do the monkey"
Dann of Thursday: Oh come on! He's got a freaking sword, has no shot attacks, and his pilot is out to kill this old crazy guy who tries to "cleanse (*cough*destroy*cough*)" the world, for the sole reason of avenging his wife, Elena. Not to mention that his activation is caused by his pilot, Van, saying "Wake up, Dann."
Sgt. Hatter: I only have ONE THING to say about this mecha... "ROLLING STAAART~!"
Big O - If you never watched "The Big O" anime, then you fail at watching epically epic Mecha Anime.
Nirvash Type 0 Spec2/3: This mecha is capable of fighting with the Power of Love, baby! (Watch episode 50 to understand what I mean)
Gurren Lagann: "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!?"

You don't even have Gaogaigar or Gunbuster? They were the predecessors of Gurren Lagann and at least twice as manly! I'm not saying Gurren Lagann isn't a better series than them, but Gaogaigar just blows it out of the water in terms of manliness.
Heck, a few of the mecha you listed aren't manly at all! King Gainer is awesome, but it is by NO means manly. And Voltron? Pfft. The only reason anyone even knows about that show is because it was one of the only ones aired in America. It's made of lions and it still isn't manly.
I'm gonna have to agree with everything else on that list though, except maybe Nirvash because it took Renton the whole series to become manly and Jehuty/Muramasa Liger because I haven't seen them in action.
Also, Burning Gundam instead of God Gundam? This thread causes me rage. >:
*votes for the Gundam anyway*

Is it bad I only know of; Burning Gundam and Jehuty? And isn't The Big O a Gundam? You guys might want to look the mechs up up on Youtube. @ Veritech Fox: Big O is a Megadues. A Super Robot with the mechanics of a real robot (Slow, frikkin' huge, takes a few seconds to follow-up one attack with another, etc)

hey, what about Jaguarandi from the Virtual-On series? he's huge, has a whole boatload of firepower, and looks really cool! He looks cooler in the first game than in Force and MARZ. Before Jaguarandi became the mutated computer bug we know today, it was once an ordinary HBV-05-E Raiden VirtuaRoid. There was this little boy who's VO+ on one of the Virtual-On VR terminals and something went really wrong with the reverse-conversion sequence of that Raiden mech. The poor lad's mind got trapped in the Raiden and the VR mutated into a fatal bug known as Jaguarandi. When that Raiden mutated, his appearance changed dramatically; he's gained a rear skirt armor or whatever it is, his bazooka got integrated into his right hand, his left hand became a bomb launcher, and his shoulder-mounted laser irradiator cannons got bigger and more powerful. His head is still unchanged though. His missiles got more powerful, the Ground Bomb was replaced with the Trap Bomb (which is this Bal-Bas-Bow-esque floating mine which turns into a four-way missile attack in a fraction of a second), and his new laser irradiators now fire in 10 directions, dubbed the "10 Laser". Take a little too long shooting and fighting your way through the first five levels of the first game in the series and you'll encounter ol' Jaggy after level 5. Be careful, Jaguarandi is as tough to beat as Z-Gradt!
