Unrated, no experience with the borg. but i like the concept of a support borg, which she is, i had a few battles with nurse borgs and lost all of em. most famous loss was the 1st fight, if you have trouble with it as stated in a GAMEFAQ FAQ, seek clinical help, which i did, results came back and as it turns out im an idiot, healing DB Omega, when im on 30HP. but on paper she looks like an ok borg, iv only healed Death Borgs so cannot be used as a reference. |

Very, very bad. She's more useful than Angel Nurse due to her higher survivability but Angel Rescue's better healing makes her pointless to use. Anything other than her heal is worthless too.

The concept of Nurse Borgs is pretty standard in team fighting games like this. Generally they're looked down upon because they extend the time of the battle and don't take too much skill to use. In GF's case, I think the Nurse Borgs are more of a nuisance than actual help. They're slow and don't do much damage, and healing is hard to pull off in the middle of battle. The only upside I can think of is that Nurse borgs heal A LOT of HP. Whenever I see one appear, that borg is going down fast because fighting the partner would just take too long. So if you wanted to draw my attention to you real quick, use a nurse borg  or have your partner use one if you want to attack your enemies from behind. I've only seen one strategy with them that works, and that is Nurse Borg + Fortress borg. I'd classify this as a gimmick though, because beam shots can still take down nurse borgs, plus the nurse borg either has to be lucky to spawn on top of Death Arc or needs to find a way up there. All that said, I'd give Nao a 3/10 because she has a bit more HP than her counterparts, plus she has some potential uses I can see. I'd still rather have a partner that can attack, though... also she's pretty cute so ya |

Just air dash everywhere and rush in for support when you can. |

Considering that I'd say the nurses would be much better if they cost around 200, instead. I still need to keep in mind that nurses can't move while they're healing, so they are super vulnerable at this time. I don't think I'd spend 240 for that :/

I don't think I'd spend 240 for that :/ Aren't they invincible when healing though? They can use the fortress as a shield too. |

I dunno, I've both tried it and gone up against it. Of course if you raise the fortress borg out of bounds then you're set, but then it becomes a battle of the fortress borg's beam attack versus the opponent's dodging skill.
Aside from that, Planet Hero's a nightmare when trying to use Fortress borgs as a shield. Neo G, too.
But I guess you're right. Ignoring the top-tier borgs, most borgs aren't fast enough to touch Nao.

Not to mention a good teammate's probably going to be shooting down anyone after their partner anyway, and with a Fortress you're not safe anywhere and have to constantly be watching it. |

6/10. Agreeing with all of the above about Nurse borgs not being the greatest for combat, but healing is fun, and even better is the feeling of whacking people around with a syringe  To steal Frozn's terminology, I also have way too much fun using Nao's Spin2Win xD |

I think healing is very useful, it's just she's outclassed by other healers and has no reason other than cost to be used.

XD Nao. Is a Nurse. Also. I hate genderlock. I don't like playing as a girl. It makes me uncomfortable. The fact that Nao is a girl won't affect her rating. She has a decent melee cycle too bad I can't do an X cancel on her melee. If she had a charge ANYTHING she'd be more useful personally. However. Her purpose is well done. She heals. And she heals in a way that CAn interrupt you in a fury sprint, however being given invulnerability frames is a good offset. She also makes for a cool storyline. I have some interesting comments when I play the story, and I think it's interesting how you can just go into Mana's room without her. Why does kou just have immediate access there?!! There's more quests like that. Anyway, I think I rated 4/10. 7/10 for Co-op. 4/10 for solo play. Usually I carry Mana/Nao into battle than any other character. Healer role is made here! |
