il start, personally i fell that he is borg, perhaps not the best in the game, but when i was on my 1st playthrough i loved him, with the power he possess. and only 300GFE.

One of the most cost efficient borgs in the game, G Red packs great projectiles, strong melee, and good defensive stats and mobility for only 300 GFE.
I give him a 10. Easily one of the top 10 borgs in the game.

(You gonna make this a series? Because I'd be on board with that. We need more Gotcha Discussion.)

8. Neo costs more, but I prefer using Neo and G Black over the original G red. They just seem to pack a bit more of a punch in my eyes.

Well, that's the trade off to their higher cost of course.

(I think all the G-Series are top 10 in the game though)

im up for making it, without question. its just a case of how well it goes down. i may post 2 or 3 tomorrow.

I actually prefer g-red over Neo. only because the air combo is faster on 001, and stronger, at least when I use him. The g-crash gets that crazy boost. Neo has better hp and defense, longer and potentially stronger combos, but they're longer and slower. It's hard to use him on a 1v3 ( I usually warm up with a 1v3 vs) That's situation based though. In a normal play, or a 1v1 Neo probably trumps.

G-red though. Dat G-red. Excellent build. I wish he had a different jump. I like boost jump, but I feel faster without the booster. Though a booster has its perks also. It's hard to get height quickly without attacking something above you. also you run out of jump after a point, and have to fall. Still I guess g-red can't be as perfect. #perfectborginprocess

Also he's too mainstream. Revolver gunman and cyber hero all the way.
(Cyber hero has terrible efficiency XP but he's fun to run around a map screaming KAMEHAMEHAH!!)

Hard to argue with G Red, unless you like a certain extreme of fighting style :3 He's cost efficient, got good power and speed. I'm not a fan of Boost Jump, though There's really nothing to complain about, but I think I use him too repetitively to really love using him ... So that makes an 8 or 9, I haven't really decided

G-Red is definitely one of the stronger borgs in the game. 300 cost means two Normal Ninjas or something like Command Girl, and G-red is much better than both of these. His projectile is really good, his HP is decently high, and his close range is really strong. The only problem I have is that he's a bit too close range without a sword, so he does a lot of chasing down for close-range. At least he has boost-jump to help with that
Definitely on par or better than a lot of the higher-cost borgs like Knight Borgs, Drill Robot, Samurai Shogun, Small Dragons, etc.

Also he has the longest close-range combo of any borg I've ever seen, so that's fun ^^

But I agree with Al that in the grand scheme of things, G-Red would be overshadowed by some of the stronger, higher-cost borgs like his upgraded form and cyber ninja, not to mention DB Sigma.
