First they make a poorly designed console that fails 67% of the time and that everyone I know thinks is better than the PS3 presumably because it came out first. Then they bribe Namco to make sure the Tales of Vesperia PS3 port isn't released in America. And I just remembered they bought Rare. Meaning any and all sequels to such games as Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, and several N64 games I haven't played are 360-exclusive. Retro Studios messing up Donkey Kong Country with motion control, a bunch of Tikis, and actual HP can also be blamed on Microsoft taking Rare away from making games for Nintendo consoles. In fact, I blame every Donkey Kong game on the GameCube on Microsoft. (I'm inclined to believe they all sucked. Maybe some of them didn't, but the only one(s?) I know of were those gimmicky bongo games.) And that's not even getting into the non-gaming-related s*** they've done. Or the fact that, according to Wikipedia, they literally were found in violation of anti-trust laws.
If this post continues, it'll inevitably turn into a rule (I think it was) 3 violation. And I'm bored of it anyway. I'm going to go play Jet Force Gemini and enjoy one of the not enough Rare games Microsoft couldn't take away from us.

You're JUST realizing that? I've known it for years.

Well, I didn't think they belonged in gaming back when they made the Xbox, then I found it funny how the 360 failed so much, then I found about the whole Vesperia thing and started hating them. Actually thinking about the implications of them buying Rare made me realize I don't just hate them, I thoroughly despise them.

hmm i agree i like the PS3 more
but i usually play my 360 more because its easy to talk to my friends that play it because of the whole party system compared to the PS3 chat
however those things that were mentioned are very serious matters especially the bribes and the buying of rare :<

PS3 and XBox 360, and the Wii even, suck. Who's up for N64, Gamecube, or oldschool SNES? THOSE.........were good.

^Nah, the new systems that aren't the 360 don't suck, they just don't have too many good games. Everything's overloaded with shooters, except the Wii, which is overloaded with motion control gimmicks and generic mini-game compilations. And good sequels to older games (i.e. Mario Kart, SSBB). There's good stuff there, but not much because the game developers are too busy with crappy shooters, linear RPGs, and an overemphasis on graphics over gameplay. The older systems are better because they are from before mainstream gaming went on a downward spiral overloaded with shooters. Back then (excluding the GameCube) it was all platformers. Lots and lots of platformers. Especially on the SNES.
Anyway, no mention of the PS1/2? They were good, too. And what about the NES?

PS2 and GC are tied for my favorite game consoles. GC, obvious, good controller and games. PS2 brings...
PERSONA! and a good controller and tales of... games. basically good RPGs. Online doesn't appeal to me very much. do, I really couldn't care about X Box live or whatever.

Same for PS2.

I like how a topic about Microsoft hatred has more posts overall (including first posts) than the entire rest of the Microsoft section. It makes me smile. ;D

Also when your the 3rd richest man alive, and the government asks you for money, yoid get away with anti trust stuff too. Im not advocatin for microsoft here, but well, bill gates has to be smart, you dont get where he is without it. That said, im not a fan of bill gates personally, tho i wouldnt mind a scholarship... But ps3 really doesnt have any games that interest me and i had a wii to play so... Yea.
