Favorite/Least Favorite Mission?

Cockroach mission is my new least favorite mission. This mission just feels like tedious grinding. You've got a whole bunch of small targets who pose absolutely no threat whatsoever and die in 1 or 2 hits. The only challenge is avoiding the two or three bug witches, which pose very little threat as well. If you happen to get hit by the bug spell, then it's just stalling for time. Most boring mission.

I also dislike the death eye mission for much the same reason.

Favorites: I don't typically think of particular favorites, but both of the Decisive Battles are quite epic, so they're cool.
The Cyber Death Dragon mission is too cheap with all of those undodgeable Remote Beams for me to truly appreciate the epicness of it, but it's not that bad. Not a favorite, though.
The Stone River missions with the Machine Dragon and CDD, on the other hand, are awesome.

Least favorite: Thia may be a long list.
First off, let me just get this out of the way:

Aside from that, the Girl Borg unit has too many Buster Lasers combined with Nurse Borgs, the Ultimate Cannon unit has too many Arrow Ninjas (and Bug Witches, and possibly other comparable nuisances) combined with Ultimate Cannons, and the I-Believe-It-Was-the-Special-Forces-mission mission has too many Arrow Ninjas (and Bug Witches, and possibly some other comparable nuisances) combined with ICBM Tanks.
Also, the Beam Satellite battle, the Death Eye unit, and the Big Cockroach Parade are too long and repetitive.
The Dragons' Den sucks, but the Great Dragon Parade doesn't, oddly. Actually, no, it's not odd; the Den throws three unflinchable Dragons at you simultaneously, which is a cheap load of bulls***.

Aaaand it's, like, 2:45 here, so I'll leave it at that.

^The Special Force mission is such a troll. It starts out with Accel and Switching Ninja, then turns into a stupid ICBM battle. It ends pretty quickly anyways, so I don't hate it too much.

I hate the defeat the hero borg unit. Those get annoying, and i hardly ever got ay good borgs. Also killer/shadow girl is not a hero borg, they shouldve put in Jet hero, or planet/star hero. Instead of flip flopping them how they did.

do you really want to straight away go up agenst planet hero and star hero plus cyber hero, gold hero and metal hero

^ Planet, Star, Gold, Metal, and Cyber would have been a lot cooler than fighting a random shadow girl or killer girl. And where's jet hero?? It seems Sho was able to convince him to leave crime fighting and join him instead...

Why are the Hero Borgs evil anyway? What kind of twisted brainwasher is GE!?

On topic:
*possible spoilers, but probably not*
Favorite: Retake Serenity Street with Sho. Most epic story telling in this whole game, and he seems to come out when you start dying badly lol (unless I just suck xD).

Least: Galactic Emperor on later playthroughs. He beam spams waaaaay too much, and the fight just kinda drags on while you sit there and shoot him. It was cool to fight with two allies though.

Planet and Star together would also makes that fight a lot harder.

My headcanon is that the Hero borg unit are a gang of survivors unaffiliated with either side. Since they were super powerful on Mega Borg, they think they don't need GF commanders to help them.

I believe I've found quite possibly one of the greatest missions in the game for rare Borg hunting.
"Defeat the Death Force Unit!" at the Construction Zone. The ones that I'm pretty sure show up before "The Decisive Battle! Defeat the Cosmic Dragon!" and that generally have enemy costs of between 2500 and 3500. It's the one at the end of the list in Special mode (unless it can be in a different order in different files).
I have seen Carrier Helicopters, Metal Heroes, Gold Heroes, and Cyber Heroes in positions after the start of the battle. Yes, that's right, three Borgs that can't be found in rare form from any non-random mission. And a Gold Hero.
Or, to put it another way, everything in the Hero Borg unit you couldn't already find outside of the Hero Borg unit AND THEN SOME.
I'd be having a field day with this were it not for the fact that finding anything cool is all luck-based and I'm prone to extended bad mediocre luck streaks.

(And I just remembered I completely forgot to mention the Switching Ninjas.)

That's where I found my gold gold hero and gold cyber hero.
