With the death of Paragon on the horizon, a friend of mine suggested Heroes of the Storm as a substitute MOBA. I was hesitant because I wasn't into MOBAs that use clicking to move/attack, with my time spent in Smite and Paragon. But I tried it, and I do not regret it. While I am still getting used to the controls, it is alot of fun with the objectives mixed in and not having to worry about getting the last hit. Looking forward to playing more. Yeah, Heroes is a pretty good MOBA. We'll have to play some time; I need an excuse to play it again. |

Xenoblade 2 and I FINALLY completed Ursula's quest. My gotcha force what an annoying and tedious quest that was! It literally took me months to beat! Horrible, absolutley horrible experience.
Will wrap up some loose ends then I can finally try out New Game+.
Never wanna see a stamp again in my life!!

Atelier Lydie & Suelle.
Though the game in itself is fine, it's just awfully optimized by the developers. The framerate is just horrendous and the character models are drenched in annoying jaggies and considering the game isn't exactly a technical marvel, this is inexcusable. Will probably only play through it once.
Can't believe it slipped by quality check.

Over a decade late to the beat train, but finally played the copy of Elite Beat Agents that I had lying around from a few Christmases ago. I find it a bit sloppy gameplay-wise, but frankly it's so delightfully cheesy and groovy that I don't really care; I'm having a blast |

Off-topic rant: Would've played Ys 8 right now ( EU release today) but after visiting 3 big retailers in my country, including GameStop, not only did none of them have it, they hadn't even heard about it! What about us old-timers who just want to visit a store and pick up a new game then and there? Everything is just online", online", online" these days. 2018 is such a boring time to live in if you're not a millennial. Options are always nice to have, not only being forced to live by popular standards.  I'm so livid because I've been looking forward all week to play it this weekend after busting my *** off at work!  - Admin |

Shining Refrain is "supposed" to be released today for the Switch and I'll take my chances yet again with trying to find a game on release day. If this is another Ys 8 situation, than my anger will make an ICBM explosion for sure.

Shining Resonance Refrain. Lost a huge chunk of motivation after discovering that enemies scale in levels with your party. I HATE that mechanic in RPGs! Whoever invented it needs to be hanged in the tallest tree possible. Someone at GameFAQs ( been starting posting here again after a 2+ year time away) told me enemies only seem to scale to a certain cap but I haven't verified that yet. - Admin |
