I don't think you should do it. I just think you need a break from trying. The game isn't going anywhere so there's no rush.
Come on man! You can live without the glitch as i have (and as i have lived without the PC version, even though i can get it as i have RAM cards)

No one can ever accuse me of not trying. This will be the last day of trying. If I do not get the crystal, I'll cross the line. It just can't continue like this. It's a never-ending cycle. Like Sirius, my game-disc most likely can't read the rare color data, in this case the B-gold crystal of the ICBMs. |

I know I was born under a dark star, but things are beyond just luck-related. Didn't you know that repeated experiments with end results are science?  Science has proved it's impossible.  Anyways, I got side-tracked yesterday. I was out in a blizzard for most of the day so I didn't get to play much. |
