Oddest glitch ever!

The following is completely true. I'm sure of it. I'm not on any medication or illegal substance, and definitely not drunk. What I'm about to say is 100% true.

I just saw a Panther Vehicle turn into a Thunder Robot as I approached it. Before I came close to it, it was a Panther Vehicle. I could see the turret. The second I went towards it to melee it, it just suddenly, without transformation or anything, became a Thunder Robot. It stayed this way throughout the battle, otherwise I would've made a video of it. I haven't tried to replicate this, as I haven't finished play #1 yet, but, for reference, it happened on the mission where you first meet Kotaro. It just happened now, I paused the game to write this. Please comment on this!

Huh, isn't the first Kotaro mission against Nekobe and Kitsune? If I recall correctly, I don't think either of them should have a Panther Vehicle o.o
I guess Kitsune just reeeeeaaaaalllly wanted a Panther Vehicle ... But his attempt at sabotaging the game code was foiled and it turned back into a Thunder Robot. PANTHER VEHICLE'S GOING TURBO LOOK OUT FOR CYBUGS

I'm dead serious! I saw the turret! It was moving exactly like a Panther Vehicle! I knew that he never even uses the Panther Vehicle, so I wondered why that Borg was even in the fight, went towards it to fight it so I could get it, and it just became a Thunder Robot! It happened right after I used The Glitch to get G Black. I also hadn't saved for a long time, so maybe that's why. Buffer overflow or something like that. Weird!
