I'm currently taking classes in Game development computer science, operating systems, and scripting.
As far as Planet Chasers is concerned, I've set the goals I want to reach in the first game and come up with all the runners and human characters as well. I have created spreadsheets for planning and after I'm finished with the other projects in my way, I will continue to work on Planet Chasers. Please note, this game is nowhere near complete in any way shape or form. you don't have a game unless people are playing it.
