The premise of this thread is simple. We all (except Admin, maybe) have some lower-level Borgs in our boxes and warehouses. So look through there, pick one, and level it up. That simple. Doesn't have to be all the way to 10, one level is fine, maybe two if you're starting from level 1. Once you've done that, talk about it here. What'd you do with it, just fight random battles or did you keep doing a specific one? If you haven't used it before, how'd it feel being on the controlling side of it? And other such questions.
Myself, I've been doing a run through the story to work on leveling up my Tao Master. Just got it to level 9, and as much as I still prefer Kung-Fu Master I have to admit Tao Master isn't quite as useless at meleeing as I thought. You just have to wait a second after landing before you start mashing B if you don't want to punch your target away with the landing attack, once you figure that out it still doesn't feel quite as smooth as Kung-Fu Master but it at least works decently. I've also been using a Ring Valkrie to take up space in my force, it's at level 4 now and I have yet to figure out how to make the charge attack not useless.

I picked my Alt Chainsaw Knight, level 5 to level 6. Spammed "Showdown with Nekobe!" For rare Issacs and to get Vlad...again. No luck with that, but the Chainsaw Knight duel at the start was fun most of the time. It also made me realize he's not as one-dimensional as I thought. (he's still very one-dimensional.) Turns out his ground melee combo (his best damage dealing attack) has SEVERE angling issues, but his air attack (not his dash attack, there's actually a difference.) has a sort of homing property and still does a crapton of damage. Also the Claw 90% of the time does more harm than good with its ending lag.

Ooh, this looks fun Too bad I'm leaving civilization for a week... Ring Valkerie's charge attack is mostly useless, except if you're on even ground with Death Borgs or something large like a dragon. It feels pretty good wiping out 5 Death Borgs at once with it, if you can pull it off

Gave Wing Dragon a whirl in the cooperate with Kotaro mission in Stone River, to hunt Sonic Samurais which I've never gotten for some reason. Netted me an alt color one on the first go, then just started doing some early vs. Nekobe and Kitsune thing repeatedly.
... Is my game glitched? Why can't this thing dash at all, and its movement slower than a roach with a slow debuff, and every attack has more lag than Metal Hero's blade beam? Why does it glide slower than a normal dragon? Why do its beams have basically no homing at all and invinci-knockdown in only two hits with subpar damage? Why does its charge attack that seems to have decent range only lock on and home in (initially anyway, because it doesn't keep homing in at all even if the enemy is simply walking) if you're point blank, and do less damage than its beams?
What's wrong with this thing?
I'm done with this, but at least I just figured out a possible candidate for a weekly challenge.

Phoenix is... usable due to a large amount of HP and far more power. Small dragons are never good anyway, they're big, slow, easy to hit targets that flinch like a normal borg, and don't have nearly enough hp to compensate for it. Wing/Phoenix are the weirdest of the bunch.

You guys should be pro and use Panther Vehicle. Arguably one of the most fun Borgs to ever exist.
....That, and Cyber Girl Hyper

Been there done that.
Forgot about this... This should be declared a weekly thing, too. I'll try a new borg soon.

In case you couldn't tell from the recent Gotcha Crash challenge, I've been using the oft forgotten but hilarious Army Robot. His radioactive cylinders of doom are far less useless than I originally thought. It's like a pseudo-Barrier Girl...plus creating your own cover is awesome. So I leveled my Army Robot from 1 to 3.

Trying to do a Dragon run (hey, I've never been good at them so it's not like this is easy peasy for me yet XD) and thus am bound by GF energy limits to use Phoenix Dragon. But I gotta say, Phoenix Dragon's better than I gave him credit for. Being slow as molasses is still annoying but the fact that his lasers home in, and almost always cause flinch, makes him pretty decent in Story mode. Still wouldn't use him for fighting with a real person though... I guess that's my level-upper for the week.

Leveled up a Flame Ninja, since I recently just got an alt one (and part of a gold one!). I always knew its X attack was great, but I never knew it spammed beams better than G-Red... And its standing melee does insane damage along with being undodgeable. Actually, its X attack is underwhelming in comparison because it lacks the range it should have and can't cancel out of his other attacks...

Got my Panther Vehicle to 5 doing a couple missions to maybe get a rare Switching Ninja. Still way better than Panther Robot in my opinion. Also I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who didn't notice this but Panther Vehicle actually has seats.
