I'll try tomorrow, sounds fun, and edited it into the first post. I was going to add 2.5 as well, but that disappeared... I deleted it. It was kinda weird. *shrug* I can repost if you want, I still remember it.

It was a more of a test of skill and duration I suppose. The melee-only version was extremely hard (or unforgiving, rather) though... Actually I think it would make a nicer challenge if you could have used the time stop. Beating that whole stage with just Chrono Samurai still wouldn't be easy, and gives him a special niche against the satellites, and you'd have to be careful about time-stopping their lasers as they can turn into laser walls.

Yeah. Admittedly, I found the Beam Satellites myself to not be much trouble, but the Death Arc was very annoying.

Well, if Gotcha Crash has taught me anything, it's that I'm teeeeeerrrrriiibble at Gotcha Force *sweatdrop* Tried 2 of them and couldn't win. Guess it's back to the training grounds for me

Loved the idea, but Army Robot disappoints me... Even the Death Borgs at the beginning take out your barrels in one volley. With the Gatling Gunners, they can literally destroy your barrels before you can even finish setting them and start hitting you through it.
I was able to make it though, with a lot of jumping to avoid the brunt of their bullet waves and leading the end of their bursts into cover, but I got hit a lot. I'm not sure if it's actually possible to avoid getting hit... Unless you don't kill the Death Borgs and make your way through their minimal fire, and to the big sign and abuse cover there for the fight.

I'm going to pass on sitting around for two minutes and then taking a 0-death combo from Death Bombs, thanks. (I did try it, but it was more annoying than legitimately challenging and I don't feel like dealing with it.) Challenge 3: Bullet Rain, Cylinder Shield! ~Steve Mission: Stone River - 100 Rounds from the Gatling Gunner! Borgs: Army Robot Goals: Win. Restrictions: Do not attempt to dodge incoming fire, and do not air dash or dash. Challenge: The whole point of this challenge is not to win by dodging, that's too easy! Instead, you are to use any cover you can use to block enemy fire and take the battle strategically as opposed to the standard "high action be fast destroy" style Gotcha Force initially offers. Tuff Stuff: Don't get hit at all. I did this one, though. The Tuff Stuff should've been "never let go of up ever." Unlike attempting to not get hit, it's both hilarious and believably possible. Anyway, yeah, that was my strategy. Hold up constantly, continuously jump and shoot. I have an idea for a challenge that I've done and can confirm can be done while blatantly ignoring the ideal method, which is always fun. Hopefully I'll remember to post it on Monday.

5:30 AM on Monday is still on Monday.
Challenge 4 (maybe): I don't actually have a creative name for this! Mission: Red Death Lair - The Dragons' Den! Borgs: Shadow Girl, ICBM Tank, Victory Tank Goal: Win. Restrictions: Don't lose. Challenge: Pretty straightforward, just take this somewhat obscure combination of Borgs and slay some Dragons. Probably not very difficult, but it'll definitely take a bit more strategy than "dodge the breath lasers, Shogun Slash, repeat until victory." Tuff Stuff: Don't use the power boost.

This one was... Interesting. It's fun, but I couldn't beat it. Shadow Girl from the start can stunlock the small dragons, but it takes so long and one screw-up is all it takes for her to go down with her pitiful HP and defense against dragons... Victory Tank from the start can also stunlock the dragons, I can usually make it to the end (last wave) with it. ICBM Tank can usually mop up, if you're lucky enough for it to not die before its nuke lands since he can't dodge anything, and he's virtually useless against the large dragons... So I think his role is mopping up.
But then? Shadow Girl can take out large dragons decently... Except it kind of comes down to luck to not get hit by a single B shot or breath attack from three large dragons... Victory Tank can sort of dance around them and do good damage, but he's too slow to dodge dragons from three sides and will get overwhelmed.
I've been trying without the power burst... I dunno if I'm missing something, that last wave is 0-death combo heaven with slowish borgs.

Challenge 5: Ultimate Cannon Unit Genbu! Mission: Little Hill - Defeat the Ultimate Cannon Unit! Borgs: Cyber Mars Goals: Combine and take victory! Restrictions: Must bring Kakeru as an ally Challenge: Simple enough, right? Beat the stage with your giant robot! Cyber Mars can dance circles around the cannons and even soak up some of their ultimate blasts, but the real battle is one of attrition, those Arrow Ninjas and Bug Witches can really force you to take some damage. And... Making Kakeru deploy in his Machine Blue by having the Ultimate Cannon's blast take him down two times (pretty sure the thing only aims directly at you). It's intense training for him! And then, unleash your ultimate power with power burst transformation into Cyber Machine Genbu! Tuff Stuff: Cyber Machine Genbu only has one shot of its charged ultimate cannon, make it count (preferably ending the stage with it)!
Hopefully this one will strike a good balance of mid-difficulty and fun factor. The key here is minimizing damage and managing against all your enemies (X attack manages the small support enemies nicely) whilst baiting Ultimate Cannon beams to Kakeru, and then using mecha power to dish out massive damage!

GENBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! This took me a few tries, but eventually I beat the Tuff Stuff, doing the epic finisher and everything. It's no easy task for the sake of "It's difficult to keep Kakeru from dying like an idiot." It was fun though. (If you're wondering how I did this, I still have my glitched file and can still do battles on it. I just can't access the data crystal menu or trade at all, and for some reason it freezes when I move my non-glitched silver G Red.

GENBUUUUUUUUUUU- Challenge 6: G-Fighters Universe!Mission: Stratosphere - The Final Battle! Defeat the Galactic Emperor!! Borgs: Red Attacker, Blue Striker, Eagle Jet, Orange Fighter, Eagle Robot (Recommended order) Goals: Save the Earth, super pilot! Restrictions: Eagle Robot deploys last Challenge: Nothing worth noting, just beat the Galactic Emperor with a fighter squadron! It's more a test of patience than difficulty until the end... You have to prioritize evasion, and take a few quick shots when there's an opening in GE's attacks. Set the stage for the ultimate transforming robot fighter, the key to finishing the Galactic Emperor! Since this can get pretty hard, a tip: For the beam circus phase, he can't really hit you as long as you keep strafing around him, so the key is strafe-shooting with Eagle Robot and using his jet mode to stay on the move constantly in a circle. A fighter can put up a fight, too, though. You have to be very patient while strafing and find the pattern to how his shots lock on to you and your allies, and react with tap-boosts to dodge the volleys locked on to you, and capitalize on his his small cooldowns. Tuff Stuff x2: You're not a coward, you're a super pilot! Stop using GE itself as cover! Stay above him and dodge like a true shmup master!

This is basically my team (+/- carrier helicopter) when fighting against him. I use a Gattling Gunner to speed through the easy early part of the battle, but when s*** gets crazy those Air Borgs are where it's at. Especially Flying Saucer, which you so wisely didn't include in the list of useable borgs
