C'mon, she was in the finals of the popularity contests, so we might as well have a thread on her. *cough* At 500 GF for 150 base HP, this cute Girl Borg might go unnoticed.. Unless you know about her wonderful X move, Barrier. Barrier makes a blue shield that can absorb quite a lot of damage before shrinking and breaking. Paired with her Charge Gun and Charge Shot, two rather standard but efficient ranged weapons and her melee attack, the Beam Yo-Yo, is a swift 3-attacks combo that pairs up well with her Barrier and is devastating for Borgs easily knocked down. What's not to like? Any player that knows the potential of her X move can easily rampage through the game with Barrier Girl, and she is also very useful in multiplayer if you don't get too close to Borgs like Chainsaw Knight. Also she's my waifu <3Now let's discuss our gender-swapped not-weapon copying Mega Man.

shes a good borg but like every borg she dose have her Strengths and Weaknesses.
Strengths
- Has a Barrier. (only if siruis had one instead of Max Shot)
- Like most Girl Borgs shes mobile
- Dose good damage output
- Shes small so shes harder to hit, unlike your dragons and forts which is impossible to miss
- Mix of effective Range and Melee attacks, i can give names of borgs witch are more costly that dosnet have that.
Weaknesses
- Low HP, so without her shields a beam gunner can take her out with ease
- A tad over priced, id say shes worth about 400GFE

I think the cost is good, if not too low. She's very well-rounded, but the catch is she's practically invincible. Her barrier takes 100hp and reloads pretty quickly. If you play well, your real HP will never go down... One of the most exceptional borgs in the game, but I prefer Wire Girl or Cyber Girl Hyper for girl borgs.

Barrier Girl is pretty boss. Her alternate color is one of my favorite designs in this game. And her barrier is super useful for rejecting support borgs, death borg omicron, copy man, etc.
Question: does her barrier have a flat 100 HP or does it go up with her level?

This is pretty much how I feel whenever I bring Barrier Girl into a battle like the Small Battle or the Copy Man battle.

Yes she is, my friend. Yes she is. [/barrier puns] And Thaddie's drawing is the prime example that makes Barrier Girl an above-average Slow Valkyrie check, a hard Copy Man counter, and an absolute necessity on the Doubles field, which would probably be covered with Arrow Ninjas and Slow Valkyries. One question, though. Can she prevent Angel Nurse's healing ability? If so, then that's a slight downside... Also BG looks like she could slide right into a Mega Man game, which is a huge plus imo

I don't THINK she does, I THOUGHT I saw a Barrier Girl get healed by a nurse with her barrier up still. I need to confirm that though :3 Though she very likely does block Quick Valkerie and Patra Witch buffs, not that that's really an issue if her HP lasts forever.

Copy Man's switch attack is surprisingly damaging. It's close to G-Red's charge beam damage. While not the best way to go at a barrier, its decent power coupled with its amazing homing (which due to the barrier's larger hitbox will hit even more easily) can definitely take the barrier down in 3-4 hits. Copy Man is also a faster-than-average borg with air dashes which can help him avoid laser spam.
Of course the issue is he still has to land a successful copy after that, which isn't all that hard either because again, the attack's great homing and his speed... But if you do (dealing a decent 1/6 her HP), you can then rush in with your own barrier with beam spam while theirs is down.
Don't underestimate Copy Man!

If it takes more than one hit to break the barrier, that's more than enough for BG to tank that hit while letting loose a charge shot Copy man with the maneuverability of a winged borg would work, though On a side note, I like how they gave her a spinner as her close-range attack. It ties her in with the other girl borgs, along with her blaster that looks like Command Girl's. I enjoy rushing the enemy, barrier ablaze, in order to slash 'em up!

Don't underestimate Copy Man controlled by an intelligent being! Fixed. (Sigh, it's been forever since I haven't played Gotcha against a CPU.) Imagine... A FLYING COPY MAN! Which isn't actually worlds better than what it is now but it would look pretty terrifying XD
