This Tank Borg is a pain in the neck to fight sometimes. Battling one of these is moderately difficult, but fighting off a group of them is enough to make you think that you're being trolled!

Oddly enough it's a melee-oriented borg. Use one and most of the time you'll be strategically approaching to do a quick 200+ damage with that absurdly good drill attack. My "drill-themed" run showed me how amazing it really is. Also, that mission is designed to pwn your face.

You know, you could, if you wanted, just include like 1-2 Beam Gunners in your Force and spam said tanks to death.

I think that Spike's saying that you can have less trouble against Beam Tanks with the Beam Gunner's maneuverability. Beam Gunners are more agile when air-dashing. Their Satellite Beam can send those armor-plated buggers flying. (Oh, and did you notice my new avatar?)

But they're so much fun to use I've been learning to appreciate Beam Tank more. As really stinking broken as it is... But yeah, those beams really get on an opponent's nerves

Well this is the only powerhouse Borg which i have not found a Borg or tactic to deal with it, but tempted to try blue striker as i can restrict its attacks to machine gun or beam cannot and as the do not tract i could charge and fire but in thinking of one...

Honestly, the black and goldenbrown on the Beam Tank reminds me of an Atari 2600 with it's black casing and wood paneling. That is the main reason I like it, as shallow as that is.
