Even though I'm late, since others have begun doing special things for GF's 10th anniversary, I shall as well! I'm doing a nuzlocke run, but with my own set of rules: 1. At the start of the run, I get to choose one borg under 500 cost. I could've been smart and chose Sigma or G Red, but I chose a new favorite of mine, Megaton Robot, AKA Spiky heads of DOOM/The Meh-Gah-Tin. 2. If a borg is dead, it is gone for good. I will warehouse/delete any borg lost. 3. I can keep ANY borg I obtain from a battle under 500 cost. If I want a borg over 500, I must remove other borgs equaling at least it's GF energy to be able to use it. 4. If I lose a battle, the game is not over. However, I lose every borg in battle AND my highest cost borg for losing. Because of this, It still very much hurts to lose. 5. I cannot use over 2,200 GF energy, even if I get more than it. (Which I probably will.)
Next week is finals, so there may be a pause at some point.

Notable Fights so far: 100 rounds from the gatling gunners!- I got a gatling gunner from this. Sho(Little Hill) - I actually beat this without a death. Megaton Robots kicks some major butt. Flame Dragon - First death. The gatling gunner I got, like, 5 missions before died. I was sad. Death Force Bodyguards - I lost Kung-Fu Master and a Vampire Knight here. It was very sad, I actually grew to like Kung-Fu Master, he was a ton of fun. I DID get a Sapphire Knight though.
Current roster: Megaton Robot(starter) Sword Knight Build Robot Normal Samurai Revolver Gunman Battle Girl Claw Robot Eagle Jet Normal Ninja Angel Nurse Sapphire Knight
I'm suprised at how good Claw Robot is too. I've used him quite a lot already.

Gatling Gunner and Sapphire Knight already? You're a real luckster... But shame on you for bringing Gatling Gunner to the Flame Dragon fight.
Wait, Orochi is just after that last fight (second Sapphire Knight appearance) and you didn't mention it... So you're just accepting crystal borgs you already have parts of?

Oh right, Orochi. I wasn't there yet.

Moar Notable Fights: Orochi - I'm ashamed to admit I lost Megaton, Saph(due to it being my most expensive borg), Kung-Fu Master and Claw Robot, to this fight. I got smacked down HARD. Death Force Invasion #1 - No deaths here. Not one. Unfortunately, since it was almost all death borgs I got absolutely nothing out of these battles either. Cosmic Dragon - Another Failure. Lost Angel Nurse, Eagle Jet, Battle Girl, and Revolver Gunman, along with Build Robot from highest cost borg. I got a Magnet Robot second time around when I only lost a Normal Ninja. The Fight Before The Dark Knight Fight Thing - Unfortunately, this was where my Nuzlocke run ended. I didn't get hardly any borgs after Orochi, and I got my butt handed to me here at least 3 times, vanquishing my entire force. ...So that was quick. Next Week; FRIENDSHIP RUN.

Current roster: Megaton Robot(starter) I'm suprised at how good Claw Robot is too. I've used him quite a lot already. Claw Robot is actually really fantastic in general. I mean, he can do combo attacks quite easily, his spin move is both effective at doing damage and letting him move faster, and he also shoots giant missiles. Really, whats not to like?

Claw Robot is actually more nimble then he appears to be, you know... It's true. When not near an enemy, Claw Robot's X attack works similar to "Crash-Dashing." Thus, it gets him across the stage quickly.

His speed is 4 and has 300 HP. Claw Robot is honestly not that bad.

Im not against him but he is not the fastest Borg iv ever used.
But to be honest there are no perfect Borg in the game. They all have strengths and weaknesses. The trick is to work with the borgs strengths and not its weakness.

Seems like things go downhill very quickly after the first loss since you also lose your most expensive borg.

But to be honest there are no perfect Borg in the game- You mean, aside from Neo G Red, right? YES I KNOW AN ICBM OR TWO CAN KILL G RED- But lets be realistic; Neo is flat-out overpowered.

well its hard to find a weakness in him but there is one as every borg has one. he is monuvarble but is melee is not world class, nor is his gun but his chest blast is.

Neo G Red's gun, btw, is amazing at chip damage.

His melee is good, and G crash is amazing. it's his main source of damage. The blaster is relatively fast and has good damage with a decent clip with fast regeneration on ammo. The charge shot is strong as usual. Heck, even normal G Red is fantastic. I did almost the entire (red ver.) Defeat the Death Force Unit in Stone River with one G Red alone. I got to the Cyber Death Dragon at the end and died there. His melee is amazing, his range is amazing, he has good mobility...really he has no flaws whatsoever. He is the ultimate one-man army, with good HP to go with his incredible stats. Other borgs around 500 cost include Drill Robot (Slow as molasses, strong melee, has strong, slow ammo that can be canceled by enemy fire), Normal Tank (Strong X shot, crappy B shot, slow as molasses), and Hatchet Knight (Good charge shot, strong but slow melee, average mobility, low HP.) While those borgs are good, the only borg even ABOUT as good as Neo at the 500-GF range is Barrier Girl, who, while pretty much immune to chip damage, has low HP. Get something with a strong hit near her and she will go down fast. Neo is capable of keeping those dangerous threats away with a dangerously accurate charge shot that sends opponents flying. As for the 300 GF range, the only borg I can think of even about as good as G Red is Vampire Knight, who can fend off hordes of enemies due to HP recovery...except Air Borgs wreck him. My point here is, everyone EXCEPT THE G-SERIES have weaknesses. Sigma, everyone's favorite low-cost beam spammer, has terrible HP, and can't take a hit at all. Gold Hero is in trouble if shot out of the air if not in Gold Setup. Cyber Ninja...well...it's Cyber Ninja. It's like Sigma but with a decent HP amount and more expensive, so...aside from higher cost I see no disadvantage. My point here is, the G-series are the lowest cost borgs who lack weaknesses. Even G Black is lower than any of the "no weakness" borgs aside from the others in the G-series.

They can do just about anything, which in a game where you can beat anything with anything if you can dodge basically means they can do everything relatively easily. The trade-off is that there's literally always something that can kill what you're fighting right now better than them.
