Unfortunately, as with the other combination units, these guys simply aren't any fun if you play with the CPU.
Which is why I want to work towards setting up a GF netplay over dolphin. Unfortunately, there are too many strings attached to THAT setup as well.
I suppose they are at least useful, if a bit of a big target when used.

I'm not particularly fond of the machine Borgs, as they are way to expensive. Neo does 10 times the job in about half the cost of most others.

Cyber Mars is basically a 100 GFE more expensive Proto Red. And Proto Red's not even that fun. But I guess the fact that Cyber Mars levels up twice as fast makes him a bit less of a pain.

I essentially like cyber mars, but as he said, it's just a more expensive machine red I prefer proto red, but I had been using cyber mars to fight sho, when I made this thread, so yeah

Cyber Mars doesn't get enough love. He's awesome ok. (Still the worst of the 4 combining maching borgs *cough* and a copy of red)

Definitely one of the coolest borgs in the game, not even getting started on the fact it combines...
I think you're all forgetting though, the extra 100 GFE is well spent on the SSSweet new look.
edit: afk finding it strange me and Steve randomly posted here at very close times (I didn't see his post though it was about 3 minutes apart)

Fun fact: Cyber Mars is the only machine borg that can survive an ICBM.

Fun fact: Cyber Mars is the only machine borg that can survive an ICBM. You sure about that? I remember Victory King being able to do it. Also that would mean that Cyber Mars can tank something better than Proto Blue which sounds like some blatant lies to me.

Memory's a little fuzzy but I remember Cyber Mars got invincibility frames from flinching whereas most of the other machine borgs just died. I for sure tried out the other Mars and Reds, and some other large machine borgs. It's possible I missed Victory King since I wasn't doing a systematic test or anything.

Don't forget to take into account levels which may raise resilience AND hp, whether the ICBM got it's power boosted/cut thanks to witches and projectile spheres, and your level of adrenaline seeping into your controller, through the cord, into the disc and combining with your borg to boost their ability.
Oh. . . wait.

I like proto mars. And i assume they play exactly the same. Except that cyber can combine. Though im probably wrong. Also since cyber mars gun is a cyber atlas shoulder cannon, he gets two projectiles for every push of b. Where as red only gets one due to his gun being a machine blue shoulder cannon or an upscaling of neos gun. I forget which. The important thing here is that mars fires twice as many shots.

Fun fact: Cyber Mars is the only machine borg that can survive an ICBM. I don't know what I was smoking when I wrote this, but that statement is the opposite of true. This week, we shall discuss Kung-Fu Master I also updated my first post and will be keeping track of all the borgs we discuss I'm not patient enough to main melee borgs so speaking from observation, it seems Kung Fu Master may not be that bad for a melee borg. He certainly has the speed, and his X is one of the most annoying attacks apart from debuffs imo.

This week, we shall discuss Kung-Fu Master I killed Garuda with a half-dead Kung-Fu Master a few hours ago. Combos for days, it's pretty crazy.

I liked using kung fu master. His melee combos are great, just like death eye said Plus, he's pretty cheap too.

While I prefer the. . . more expensive Tao Master, Kung Fu Master can be a beastly attacker up close and personal. Both of them have a similar set of melee prompts, and making good use of short hops and long jumps is very important. It's like playing Brawl all over again.

I share AC's view, i prefer tao master due to the swords, (btw hyper mode extends the range on them.) But if no one sees kung fu coming then their the kung fool. Puns aside, i have lost several powerful borgs to a kung fu master who attacked from behind. He has a decent rating in my book.
Though for melee borgs i prefer a hero or samurai.
