We all have favorite borgs, but sometime we borgs that we really like, but just don't play with that often. I have borgs like as well. This thread is dedicated to our borgs that don't get used enough. Here are some of mine: Shuriken Ninja. I am very fond of the concept of this borg. Dude uses a giant shuriken as a kite! I mean, how cool is that? I just don't use him that often because I think he is a little boring to play... His Shuriken Cutter is really powerful. But, like with Samurai Shogun, I feel the borg is a little too dominated by this one move. Metal Hero I like this borg. I like it a lot.Shuriken Cutter (x move) is Being a big tokusatsu fan, I appreciate how they made a borg based off of a classic toku hero: Space Sheriff Gavan I really like everything about him, but I suck with him. Level 1, level 10, I just can't seem to get the hang of this borg. Cyber Dragon (the body) is a little awkward to use, but I like the decapitated dragon robot. There are better dragons out there, but I really like the flavor of this one. However, he is so expensive that I rarely use him. Beam Samurai I really like Beam Samurai. His stupid laser sword, the silly seven on his head, everything. But you get him after so many play throughs I have never had one for long before my file tanks.

Antares. Too high of a cost and underwhelming in performance compared to Sirius makes me never using him. Doesn't change the fact he's cool and still in my top list of favorites though.

Antares. underwhelming in performance compared to Sirius AdminReally? How so? I mean, they seem pretty similar to my inexpert eye. Alpha Wings don't do anywhere near as much damage as just spamming Sirius' X shots, and since Antares only has about 5 ammo on its similar attack it can't spam it. On-topic: Eagle Robot. Best beam-spamming this side of anywhere ever.

The trick to metal hero is to not try to use him its just to use him. I have desicovered that when i try to do good with him i die horribly. But when i just let him do work he is in the habit of expiring much less.
That said i rather like flame ninja, but his x attack is so finicky i tend to rarely use him.

Tar Diver, Slow Valkyrie, and Death Wing.
1. Tar Diver - Love the concept but I'm really bad with close range borgs.
2. Slow Valkyrie - Her visuals and design are appealing but I don't like how she flies around. Plus any borg that has unique negative debuffs is cool.
3. Death Wing. Love everything about him, except actually using him. No idea how to play with him.
Also Sirius, but Death Arc is better,

Blade wing. He is fantastic. I havent used garuda or anubis wing yet, tho i assume that the lack of boomerang blades as an attack makes them more practical. Anyways i like blade wing because he is a flying tank. And he has a high damage output. Which most other wing borgs lack. Thusly he is in my wing borg force and i dont use him much because he is the trump borg and i hate watching the rest die.

Garuda/Anubis Wing for me. It's been ages since I last touched these guys, and I remember using them all the time back in the day. Now I find that they're really boring to use, and the sword combos are slow, albeit entertaining to get down right.

Chainsaw Knight. Powerful melee, four jumps, large health pool, and a hook shot that brings enemies closer. He's pretty much the best melee-only borg.
Switching/Teleport Ninja. They look so cool, but their attacks are so less than stellar. WHY.

3. Death Wing. Love everything about him, except actually using him. No idea how to play with him.
I tried to figure him out the other day. So far, I've determined his charge B is useless except against stationary targets (or maybe if you have no LoS between you and any target, somewhat similar to Beam Gunner / G Red's laser, but in a more gimmicky form). As far as his actual shot, you want to face left or right of your target and spam it constantly. If you attack while facing towards your target you'll likely get hit / put yourself in a dangerous position. Otherwise, you can face towards the screen and spam it, but you can't dodge automatically like this.
Death Wing's strength is against poorly homing enemies. Constantly swing/shotting to the left or right can allow him to circle around melee borgs and any weakhoming shots. This is rather slow, and not at all like a Sigma playstyle (like many other borgs in this tribe use).
Demon Wing appears to be a lot more viable, however. Mainly because his shot doesn't come with a swing animation. Here, you also do not use a sigma playstyle however. Trying to fly and them spam shot will usually end in a miss- you want to be oriented facing away from them (to hit them with the long range hits) or facing them and roughly 5 borgs above and 2 borgs away from them (this drops your shots directly ontop of the target).
Why this seems to work like this is because Demon Wing has a 2 phase shot. It's strongly homing when it's dropping, and then moves straight ahead to the target once it's on the ground (with the concession that if the target is flying, it will fly up into the air once it's underneath said target). When you're facing away, the weak (almost straight line) homing suffices because it's moving to the center of their last known position (and they're probably running towards you to catch up). Where this fails is when you're flying / moving sideways- the strong homing phase seems to figure "okay, I'm going in their general direction" once it's turned from your facing approximately 90 degrees. This tends to miss, as you're usually not facing exactly perpendicular to the shortest path between them, and it'll be off by ~15 degrees.
The best application of Demon wing is hovering just high enough above a target that pressing B doesn't initiate a melee attack. Here, the shot is strong homing until it hits it's mark- because as I've said it has strong homing until it touches the ground.
tl:dr Death Wing is face to either side and mash B, hoping the swing animation dodges shots for you (use charge on big targets or to cheese)- also dodging and then swinging gives you an extra long "combo" and more shots. Demon Wing is spamming shots from directly above or while putting distance between you and a target. His strength is that the CPU can't figure out how to dodge your shots, so it's almost 100% up to your ability to aim them.

Metal Hero is great, I use him to start my charges into battle
On another note, I like Cyber Hero, but I just don't have the patience to level him up, cuz I alway use my lvl 10 shogun, beam gunner, and cyber ninja

Demon Wing:
Big projectiles that crawl around the floor and other surfaces and home in onto the opponent is fun. Also, Scythe similar to Death Wing's.
Megaton Robot:
You have a head. USE IT!!!!! Problem is when knocked back, I lose it and have to go pick it back up. Luckily, the Z button helps with that. I always end up in this sort of scenario:
"I'm gonna go play some Megaton Robot. Get some Megaton Hammer kills." *Game starts.* "Hello, I'm a Megaton Ro- I suck so bad." *Had missed the opponent.*

Build Robot.
I like him, but I never found myself using him often. Then I found a Silver one. And I have a blast kicking other borgs into the ground, literally.
... Although, there was that one moment where I plopped down a barrel right on top of me and killed myself...

Switching Ninja is another one of my favorite Borgs I never use. So cool-looking and such potential, but ultimately falls into the unused category due to his weak defense and too long teleportation attack time.

Flying Saucer.
If any of you know TF2, Flying Saucer is like Gotcha Force's Righteous Bison. Moves around very fast. That X beam is very hard to hit with, but it deals great damage to a lot of Borgs. I love flipping Dragons around like they're pancakes using the Flying Saucer.
