Mesuda method is a method to make eggs with a higher likelihood of being shiny. If you use pokemon to breed from different nations than each other the 1/8192 chance of shiny drops to a more feasible 1/1300something.
Having a macargo with the ability I have makes eggs hatch in half the normal steps.

Ah ok see I have a lot of shinys but I am just lucky and I don't use any ar also I hatch a lot of eggs any ways about 100-140 on a good day

Hey I was wondering how good is the story in this game? I haven't picked it up because I couldn't be bothered at the time, especially since I played the first pokemon white to the point where I was absolutely sick of pokemon for a while, but the more I hear of this game's story the more I want to play it, despite the fact that I had decided to pass on it due to X+Ys announcement. Completing the national dex also grants you an item that increases the chance you'll encounter a shiny pokemon that stacks with the Masuda method? Yeah, I definitely want that thing so I can finally get a shiny metagross.
Anyway don't tell me what happens, just tell me if it's good and I'll probably buy it.

Seems pretty legit to me, but I haven't gotten very far so my opinion doesn't count for much *sweatdrop*
I think it at least stays on par with B/W, but again, ^ . :3

The Gen 5 games have a much better story than the previous ones.
On a scale of 1-10, I'd give BW2 an...8
Its not perfect, but its much better than anything else that has come out.
Barring the story of Pokemon Colosseum. That was a great ride xD
And Yes, the Shiny Charm works in tandem with the Masuda Method.
At least, I believe it does anyways. I dont really care all that much cuz I'm never going to get it xD

I never knew this shiny charm existed.  That said, BW2's story is very nice. Atleast on par if not better than BW. Gotta agree with kazu though, Colosseum/XD > everything else.  |
