But if you have anything to do with competitive battling, that would be the 1st thing to come to mind when someone says Politoed.

I don't do competitive battling, but I do remember hating Politoeds in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon because they used Perish Song a lot when I was in the same room as one of them in Northwind Field (I think that's where I remember having a real problem with them) and I'm pretty sure the imminent death was completely unavoidable (unless you're really close to the stairs), leaving you with three steps to live. Sure, it was horribly inaccurate and didn't hit me more than three times in the entire time I played the game (that I can remember), but guaranteed death is not something I enjoy being exposed to the possibility of. Also, ultimate death combination: Perish Song+Mean Look+Baton Pass. And Protect, I guess. It's probably impossible, but it pretty much guarantees death fainting. |

I am in full agreement with Steve in regards to Hypnotoed. People say that things should only be banned if they over-centralise the metagame, right? That sounds like weather.
