I made some fan art today, kind of. I made it for Facebook's unofficial pokemon profile picture day today.

It's just a coloring though, I haven't done much else, just found some lineart and colored it, so I thought about sharing it though...
14 layers and 3 hours of coloring though




It's a shiny medicham! One of my favorites.

Finished this on December 6th at 7:30 ish I accidently didn't save my .xcf file so I had to double convert it and it really hit the quality
and after 4hours of work I was done with it...
I may hit it again later then update it. but not now.


Made a signature, don't like how it looks though,
's not as clean as this next one :/ , but it's still dang good


This one looks rather plain though, I think both sigs need work
but they are still pretty cool.


I'm sorry if it stretches. I'm not sure if this place has a way of shrinking it... and I'm much too lazy to do myself XD

I'll keep adding my works to this later when I have the time, but not right now

FB lacks the quality though I'll change the Img code to the Photobucket one then. Since that tends to work better.

except my computer doesn't like the javascript photobucket is trying and I can't get links or switch back to the old photobucket. :/ I'll figure something out then.

Thanks It's unofficial pokemon profile picture month on facebook so I decided my GFF picture needed a change for a while. Even though I TOTALLY change it every 2 or 3 days.
I'll start doing requests I can do most anything though... I'm just doing pokemon because I'm most comfortable with them, and finding the line art for them is easy.

Working on a cool looking ambipom too. Unfortunately part of its hand was cut off Q,Q
Means I have to draw that :C

It came out better than I thought I could do, the FUR torso REALLY came out well .

In the way of requests, if you're THAT bored, I'd love to see a shiny Musharna :3 ONLY if you're that bored though. If you have anything else at all better to do, do that first XD

Also, do you do the shading as well as the coloring? (That's probably an obvious yes but that just occurred to me xD )

I actually made a Chandelure Signature a while back NOT shiny however.
-I agree the shiny one looks more Chandelier-y, but the normal one looks more like a ghost chandelier -
IF I COULD RUN THE JAVASCRIPT FOR PHOTOBUCKET I'D be happy ... so I'll just link you to the library and take a look at the stuff there.

and Yes I do do the shading. It's part of the reason I have 4 layers a color XD
I think I got a little off on the lucario shading, but his angle was awkward.

I like me some musharna, he's a cool cat.

also I was putting ambipom there regardless it got bumped or not. -I kind of knew it was getting bumped - I feel bad for covering Al's story though.

I was thinking more along the lines of Water-paint like... but I see the clay too.
It just looks different from most art and I like it. It's my style I came up on my own -I'm SURE others have too, It's just I didn't use any reference for shading, just put my imaginary light there and blended colors and BAM, I liked it. that's how I do it now. -

Very nice! But did you have to take out the line art entirely at the end? That's the impression I got at first glance but I guess the lines could be really tiny too ... :3

Well my style tends to be less bold so I'd actually grow the colored parts about 1.8 points and it'd cover some lines and not some. I'm not a fan of bold, but soft.

However I never intended to actually remove the lineart though It just sorta happened on the medicham.
-medicham was the first lineart coloring I did ever I have gimp experience,
but that was just simple Pokemon fusions, not coloring-

I changed my mind on the ambipom, I'm no good at drawing the arms or Drawing for that matter, I'll do a simisage he seems simple since he's only 2 colors

-I also don't know if you know this, BUT I'm not actually drawing the lineart, just coloring what I google, for now. I want to draw something, I don't think I could though.


Also Have fun with your signature Steve, I can make another one if you'd like shiny with whatever text you want.

Yeah, I got that impression. I like doing just that ;D (It never looks as spectacular when I color my own artwork )

I'm not finding any special lineart on Musharna....

I find the Original pose it does, which means If I color it, it'd basically be remaking the original art anyway. I'll keep searching though :s

Don't stress yourself out by any means. If you'd rather make a sig for Steve first by all means do so ;D

Have you tried making your own line art based off of not-line art pictures? That's kind of addicting too ;D
