Yeah bit of an over reaction I guess but I received a negative/nasty inbox from someone I presume is a member here that was a bit s***ty but also pointed out a few things I never saw. So I read back this whole thread and realised I hardly ever got a simple thanks back and that is the reason I quit, I should of explained more the first time but I can also see that you didn't ask what's up or how I am just Bam! Straight in with the negative comment, which just backs up what I think about most people here.
its a shame really, things like this really lose my faith in humanity for one person to be kind to another.

Drat. I was away on vacation when all these events transpired  Well smithy if you ever return for some reason to see this, I'll say I'm sorry for whoever messaged that to you. I for one am definitely impressed and appreciative of your work, and I'm positive that lots of others were, too. It just might be awkward, on an online forums, for everyone to say it all at once. And maybe for the folks who should've said thanks and didn't (I'm not pointing at anyone, I really don't know who) then I'll say thanks for them; after all seeing as you've put it up for everyone I think I have a right to say thanks for those too. |

I don't know what's up with whoever sent him some bad PMs (or were they actually just pointing out what was wrong with the models, like he said...?) I'm gonna go ahead and leave a legit negative/nasty comment, though.
I don't want a guy like that around here. "Nobody gives me attention, nobody gave me thanks, I got constructive criticism, I got lots of compliments! People requested me to make more HD models! You're all so negative. I'm making a game, please thank me! You guys make me lose faith in humanity."
So what the heck is this? As far as I'm aware, nobody ever asked him to make anything for us, and even so, he got plenty of good comments. Did he want thanks for that game he never even let us play? So whatever... He's the real negative and nasty guy around here, insulting just about everyone on this forum and saying we made him lose faith in humanity.
An egocentric, conceited, attention-seeking, whiny jerk. I mean, maybe I'm being a jerk now, but the guy just insults us all for no reason and leaves, so let him. Still, I liked the things he did, but...

He lashed out at njayhuang for a simple comment (didn't ask him what's up or how he is, so he's a negative person? This guy's being seriously conceited), and we all made him lose hope for humanity being kind for not directly thanking him. Let's just forget the insults he gave the whole forum, Smithy is the ultimate kind being.

yeah but i'd still like to have Smithy back on the forums if he enjoys being on here. i mean his work is great, so as a fellow artist i just want him to know that what he does is good and cool and all, but it takes a long time for one's art to become widely popular. also deviantart/pixiv does a good job of building your popularity. I'm pretty sure i've thanked him over and over for putting aside his own time to pack and send me a lot of his models, too...

^ Yeah dude I realized since having my Youtube account that there is always gonna be haters in the world and that they are always gonna hate, otherwise they would have no job.
I also learned I shouldn't take stuff to personally either at the end of the day its prob only a 12 year old sitting behind a computer.

If there's anyone out there that can still take pictures like this I would urgently request another set of images of Sirius.
I need images perfectly centered of one side (right or left doesn't matter), the front, the back, from above and from below.
The existing ones in this thread aren't clearly seen from either since they're tilted in some way.
I need these set of images to make a blueprint for my welding model so help is appreciated ASAP.
