maaan this round sets a long time favorite of mine and a borg that i just recently thought to be extremely cool (relatively recent).
I didn't feel like flipping a coin, so i just voted Metal Hero because that's who I want to draw next.

Acceleration Ninja's strategy basically amounts to Ninpo Full Throttle through the target, run a short distance away, jump, air-dash toward the target, repeat indefinitely.
Metal Hero's can't be done on an infinite loop quite as easily, making him more interesting to use. Also he slays Dragons. Metal Hero +1.

Sorry I missed more votes than I said I would.  Also, G BLACK LOST?  ?? Oh well. Might as well go and find a nice, sturdy rope and a really awesome landmark like... big ben... to go hang myself from. It's just not worth it. Cyber hero now stands as my mortal enemy, who I shall devour in hell. I just realised that neo lost too! To acceleration ninja! Christ, running really fast is fun but I wouldn't say accel ninja is really all that useful, really difficult to turn him, crap projectiles, crap mele, crap charge attack. I'm sorry but at best all he can do is stall and make the battle really, really boring because no one can hit him. Thats it, I'm dropping of a plane while drinking gasoline then lighting myself on fire as I land but first onto the spire of st pauls cathedral. (All humorous, you can think what you want...) |

There's also the part where it's less about utility and more about Accel being more badass than NGR could ever hope to be. There are points for style in this tournament, after all. |

Ninja I know you can. but that curve is so low a metal hero can predict it and fire a sword combo so the last hit's blast hits Accel. Plus Metal's melees actually come out very quick. |

aaaand Metal is currently down by 1, 8:9. @carigun, don't forget that Metal gets no hitstun, so if Accel gets close enough to melee Metal can ruin him quickly. Accel would have to fight from afar, but he has to slow down eventually to shoot  Either way, if this was a real fight it'd be long and boring unless Accel just fought head on lol. I feel like there are probably some mindgames Accel can use to land a hit without getting meleed. And that's if you don't consider charge-B spamming. The safest one is probably to dash head on, then jump up right before Metal attacks to stop your momentum. After you opponent realizes he's hitting nothing and stops, Turbo and hit Metal while he's confused for a second. After that though, the guy using Metal will probably do a short hop forward and spin just to be safe, and hit Accel in the air or on the ground. Then accel would have to choose to either bluff and start shooting or try to dance with Metal close range (in which case Metal has the advantage). Kinda wish we could test this online lol. Either way, Metal is a Hero, and Heroes are cool. EUPDTATE: TIED at 9:9, voting ends in 2.5 hours! |

I was sure that Acceleration Ninja could hit Metal Hero with the tip of his blades so that Metal Hero couldn't hit him back. It's just a game of distancing then.
But that's only because I have a hard time with Metal Hero's movement, so I'm not too sure, but it seems like Metal Hero can only pull off a hit by first taking a hit himself (though there is his neutral aerial, where he does a flip with his beamsword). I'd actually like to see this match-up, since it relies heavily on technical skill and reaction to your opponent.
The only problem I see is that Metal Hero and Acceleration Ninja have the same HP, so winning with Metal Hero means either your attacks hurt more, or you are really comfortable using Metal Hero.
