WOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAHHHHHH! ;D ;D ;D Come on, Capcom, we know you want to make GF2 ... come oooonnnnnnn....I, too, am also wondering what kind of game this is I know the link says "social," but what on earth that means I'm not totally sure... Somehow I doubt this is a full-blown fighting game I think they picked Usagi for the sole fact that they like her better xD Note that Capcom released more Usagi art than Kou art :3 I wouldn't go so far as to say he'd squeal, though. Come close to it, maybe, but actually doing it seems a bit out-of-character for him. Remember the part where some of Admin's old names were Usagi and #1 Usagi Fan? :3 And don't forget the Usagi smilies he made. I see squealing in the near future. Also what I was getting at.

^Yeah, but they care enough to give Usagi a slot in the art, considering they have SO many different IPs that are better known that they could have put instead. Surely I should be gotcha forces all star but I have never played this series of game what's it like It's an RPG styled game. Scroll to the bottom here: www.capcom-allstars.jp/pc/For iOS4 and Android 2.2 and above There are some screens in this link: www.siliconera.com/2012/10/04/yes-theres-another-capcom-crossover-game/Alas, it's not a fighting game...but a collecting card game of sorts? I wonder how many Gotcha Borgs are mixed into those cards? Regardless, they currently don't have plans to release it West but there's always a chance. (They probably don't want to translate it, because they're hogged up with work on GF2... )

Actually, I'm ecstatic beyond words. Not only did they include ( at least one so far) a Gotcha character but they truly chose the best representative for the game. ;D This means Capcom has finally opened their eyes and re-discovered their greatest gem, and I'm getting hopeful for a sequel/prequel, spin-off, re-make or anything Gotcha related. Hopefully, Capcom aren't stupid enough to put it on a handheld console or a non-Nintendo one. Capcom can't ignore that facts anymore. Gotcha Force is a better game than even they themselves don't know. Sure everyone is talking about the bigger name games more but how many people enjoy playing the same game year after year after year? Games like Street Fighter and Resident Evil survive because they get so many sequels and spin-offs, but what if there were just one SF or RE game? Just one. What then? Considering Gotcha is on it's own and still generate such loyal fanbase is what makes a game great and not one that survives because everyone loves the name.

I'd actually guess that that one SF game would still have some incredible longevity solely thanks to its competitive scene, depending on how recent it was released. Look at Super Smash Bros. Melee. Last I heard it still has an active competitive community nine years after its release. On the other hand, we still play Gotcha, and we don't even have an active tournament scene or anything. I think we win. ...Though I still would kill for a competitive Gotcha community... with some tournaments, a non-theoretical metagame... seriously.

^ I completely agree with you there. This is why I'm excited with this new development. Getting the name of Gotcha Force out there for newcomers is a good way to increase the size of our community (though in this case it'll be the Japanese community...).

Street fighter third strike (some version of it anyway) is still played despite it coming out around the same time as MvC2.

We must all learn Japanese. ...No, but seriously, it'd be awesome to know Japanese.

Already tried that, but couldn't. Good to know that Capcom still cares about Gotcha Force in one way or another

What? That is quite unexpected. Glad to hear that Gotcha Force still holds a special place in their hearts. But, damn, that came out about 5 months ago and I still can't find any info on this. The most I can get is this one game play screenshot that keeps popping up.
