A pop star vs. a mecha! WHO WILL WIN? It's Pop Honey vs. Eagle Robot tonight! Pop Honey sings her debut single, Mr. Reverse Bolt! Other borgs that hear this tune are so engrossed into it that they start dancing, making it difficult to hurt stuff! While frail, she is very poppity, and has the ability to pop to the skies, singing her song from the top of the charts! Her mic doubles as a bubble gun, so creepy fans, beware! She may not look it, but she can kick your butt if you're not careful. Eagle Robot. Nuff said. But he deserves more. One of the most fierce members of the Machine Corps, Eagle Robot soars through the skies with his ability to transform into a jet! His beam tonfas are deadly, and has more than enough firepower to dispatch enemy fighters quickly and cleanly. Riding atop a Sirius in Kakeru's backyard, he is eager to take on Pop Honey (who had a concert there, so he was hoping she'd be there), and now the time has finally come...to... dance FIGHT!!! The bracket thus far! It's a come-from-behind victory last blow! When all seemed lost, Cyber Hero vanquished the evil G Black! Results:GFF- 5:7 GFaqs- 4:3 Total- 9:10 Cyber Hero(one vote switched from GB to CH, if you're wondering where the votes went) Next match, Round 2 begins! On the bench: Barrier Girl vs. Beam Tank!May the best borg win. ROUND 1: MATCH 8, BEGIN!Note: I'm casting a vote for Al for Eagle Robot; he can't make it today. @al, If you do end up voting, let me know so I can retract mine thanks.

I have nothing good to say about Pop honey. I absolutely despise her in every way. Eagle robot is K. Not one of my favorites, but good.
Lets win this ER.

I was originally going to write a bit of a rant here about how Eagle Robot's just a glorified flight-enabled Death Borg Omega IV with improved HP and accuracy and his abilities are nothing more than the same old mundane beam-spamming with the only minutely interesting addition of flight for high-speed retreats to sniping range, but it's still far better than Pop Honey. I was going to write something like that, until just now when I went back and actually used them both again. Pop Honey is just as bad as I thought; her melee hitboxes are microscopic (which is an issue for me), most shots that she doesn't fire from the ground are coming on a relatively steep downward angle that just gets worse and worse the more shots you fire consecutively thanks to her oft-lauded ability to reach the mesosphere by shooting from air-dashes, and Mr. Reverse Bolt isn't all that powerful and leaves you far less agile and evasive. Not bad as a defensive Borg, but pretty bad offensively. But Eagle Robot... that mother-f***ing Eagle Robot... I hereby take back all those things I didn't actually say about Eagle Robot. Are his abilities effectively limited to beam-spamming? With those awkward I'm-50-times-the-size-of-my-target melees, yes. Except no, because in actuality his abilities are effectively limited to THE MOST HARDCORE MOTHER-F***ING BEAM SPAMMING THERE IS. Point being, Eagle Robot +1.

If I'm not confusing him with Proto Eagle (well, they probably have the same melees), you'll do a downward crosschop that has a pretty big hitbox. After landing, I think you do the tonfa spin, and after the crosschop it hits pretty easily. Then you do the kick, which is probably gonna miss. It's only really reliable for slower borgs though . Neutral melee is also decent, iirc. I really need to play again lol. If you're really good, you can transform into jet, dash straight into your opponent with a melee, untransform, and then cross chop blah blah, it works too but it's harder to pull off. I think transforming also resets your ammo, so it's a happy beam spam+ to keep hitting x every now and then.

Yup. Transforming does reload all your ammo. Titan Robot and Eagle Robot are amazing beam spam machines. ...I never noticed how creepy Pop Honey's eyes were in the actual game. o.o

this is gonna be simple. now Eagle would transform into the jet and open fire on Pop Honey and since Pop Honey has a very poor way of defending her self against air borgs (and eagle robot) she would last up to 20 secs in a fight.
who predicted id say some thing like that??

...I never noticed how creepy Pop Honey's eyes were in the actual game. o.o How on Mega Borg could you miss seeing that? Considering Pop Honey is purely a support Borg, meaning she needs a good offensive partner to take advantage of her "songs", I vote for Eagle Robot since he's way more of a fighter and most likely would mute Pop Honey rather fast.

I find Pop Honey useful when you have UC Buddy.
My vote goes for Eagle Robot. Reminds me of Dirge from G1 Transformers.

I find Pop Honey useful when you have UC Buddy. Yeah, kamikaze-useful that is. I've never used her that much and when I'm fighting them, they're usually either too far away or dead. Well surely you've seen them while browsing the collection?

Panther Robot spams bullets, so technically he's not a beam spam borg and my original post is correct.
Totally making up excuses for why I forgot Panther Robot. >.>
Edit: Oh you deleted it.
