R1:Match7: G Black vs. Cyber Hero

A hero against an anti-hero! It's G Black against Cyber Hero today!

G Black. Little is known about this fighter other than that he resembles Neo G Red. Sources tell that he might even be stronger than our beloved NGR...but wait, we've seen him in action! Sporting even more attacks, he's got a dark beam sword and dark insta-beam! One of the strongest in the Gotcha Force universe, G Black can blast nearly anyone back into their gotcha box!

Cyber Hero is a hero! Or is he just a street fighter in disguise? Cyber Hero brings hadokens and signature spins kicks that makes his secret identity one that is world famous! Leader of the Hero Borg team, he's been through a lot, losing one of his best friend's support to Sho, requiring him to get some random girls to help him fight crime! A man whose fists do the talking, Cyber Hero is a hero among heroes!

No matter how fast you are, speed means nothing when time stands still! Chrono Samurai splits the tie with Sonic Sam within the last few minutes of the match!

G Black is outclassed by Neo aside from a slightly slower neo crash, And Cyber Hero is awesome.

I voted him in, course i'ma vote for him. Dude's Ryu in disguise, he has the Hadokens, Hurricane kicks, and melee combo strings from Street fighter! And he's a boss. A boss of Heroes. A Hero Boss.

I'm really bad with Cyber Hero so I haven't used him much.
G Black is definitely not as good as Neo G Red so I tend to lose with him often as well, but of these two, I would go with G Black into battle.

G Black is basically what happens when Capcom looks into the future, sees that I don't like Neo G Red, and inexplicably decides to make a different version of him to appease me; every problem I have with NGR is nonexistent with G Black. He has some actual melee variety, not everything he does is a ready-made combo, and to top it off he's a hundred times more badass, too.
The only problem is that he's still another G Red at heart, so he's way too easy to use by default. On the other hand, I can't use Cyber Hero effectively to save my life. Cyber Hero +1.

I think the reason Cyber is so hard to use, is because he uses a different control scheme from everyone else. All of his melees are mapped to B, and all of his shots are mapped to X, so after playing with most of the other borgs we're not really used to that. (It's similar with Death Wing[? the one that Orochi has, but big skill guy], so it's kinda akward to use them at first. Imperial too, IIRC).

But, you couldn't have his moveset any other way, as if ranged was mapped to b like the rest of 'em, you wouldn't be able to kick dash yourself around, which is really where his manueverability comes from. So it's just a matter of getting used to his "button set" really. I normally go air dash kick, charge b, hurricane and charge x while spinning, then release the big hadoken beam to finish the combo. It's the only way I can do decently with him

Yeah, if Cyberairdash kicks around he's one of the faster borgs available. And i remember testing his Charge B into Charge X, and it turns out it actually makes the combo weaker because of the extra hits or something.

@yuurie, yeah, but it looks cooler when you combo it lol. I think it does less because your enemy gains invincibility shortly after getting hit by the beam, and I tend to release it a little earlier before the kick is finished.

It looks awesome though xD

I'm surprised Cyber Hero wins.
I don't find him reliable at all, especially compared to G Black.
Even though the latter is more unreliable than his red counterpart, he's a way better fighter than CH.

Cyber Hero looks awesome though, and he's one of the cooler cameos in the game. He IS pretty difficult to play with though, I'd pick G Black for fighting over CH any day, but I like Cyber more because of his design/what he signifies in Gotcha. What I'm suprised at, is someone switched their vote from G Black to Cyber Hero. -1 +1 flips the game to cyber currently.

I also forgot that it's Daylight Savings time...so it looks like it's ending an hour early today. I'll get the results and post the next match at the usual time.
