 It's Acceleration Ninja vs. Neo G Red! Acceleration Ninja, the "fastest" member of the Ninja Borg Unit (bar Cyber), zooms onto the battlefield! With arms that cut through the air, it's no wonder that he can move so fast! At 380 Points, he is well known for having wheels on his feet, but he's so fast that HE JUST RUNS. What an amazing athlete! Who needs wheels, when you're boss like that? Neo G Red, the "rarest" borg of them all! You can get tons of battle girls, hundreds of Death Eyes, thousands of Dark Knights, but you will only have one Neo G Red (I heard James has one, you'll have to ask where he found him  ). With a tin can as a pistol, he can rain death from afar. With his sword on his back, he can combo any fool to death! His G Crash will carry him across the arena, and straight into his enemy's pancreas! Truly a remarkable fighter, and a well known legend in the world of Mega Borg! The bracket thus far!  In a close and suprise defeat, Cyber Ninja is defeated in Round 1! Metal Hero moves onto round two! Results:GFF- 6:5 GFaqs- 1:1 Total- 7:6 Metal Hero On the bench: Sirius vs. Beam Gunner! May the best borg win. ROUND 1: MATCH 4, BEGIN! |

Match 4 already?? I really need to take the time and log on more often. Neo essentially is the best small Borg there is in overall situations. He packs quite the punch and he can withstand surprising amount of damage for his size. Accel is really fun to play and he's the champions of small Borgs when it comes to ICBM/UC blasts. Going for all-round prowess Neo wins hands down and thus voting for him should be the easy choice, but Accel has moments in the spotlight as well and he's a great Borg when he's needed. I'll wait voting for now.  |

I've used Acceleration Ninja so much that his tactics and maneuvers have become rather mundane and boring in comparison to Borgs I'm less familiar with...
But Neo G Red is pretty much the quintessential generic Borg that can do anything. No specialization whatsoever. Which wouldn't be so bad were it not for the fact that he basically has 6 attacks and you can't really combo between any of them.

Neo g red talks come on people I vote Neo g red because he can take more hits and when a accl ninja takes on a fortress it takes forever because his b attacks are poor
Also I can get a 30+ combo off Neo g red

this is the tightest match yet.
these 2 have powerful melee but Neo G Red has a better range but if A.Ninja keeps running around it will be a hard target to hit by melee and possibly range for Neo
so A.Ninja might sneak in an unpredictable victory.

GFaqs has 2 on Accel. Ninja, so total so far is 8:2 Accel. I didn't expect NGR to be losing so badly either. There's still time, we'll see.
I really like Accel's design, but NGR is really fun to play as, all the time. THE almighty type borg, you can't really go wrong with him. I still haven't been able to figure out how to Accel lol. He just seems to take forever to kill something.

well the thing about NGR is that he has an SA beam, but acceleration ninja can dodge that pretty easily i guess. in a 1v1 i'd say that accel ninja is at a disadvantage, because he can't really land a hit on NGR. However, the Neo G Crash has a longer range than the Ninpo Full Throttle, so going head on, Acceleration Ninja would lose.
this matchup was about as hard for me as the first match. both are extremely cool borgs.

Accel can't really win in a fight, but darn it i like him more anyway. G-red is fun to brawl with (his landing B combo and followup is pretty cool.) but Accel is more fun to just screw around with. Feh... Accel it is.

Once or twice...lol And if you're thinking Sirius vs. Beam Gunner, yeah. It's gonna be a field day. I dunno what to think, with Cyber Ninja knocked out already, and G Red also on the verge of being kicked off of the bracket lol. Update! It's 3:2 Accel on the GFaqs poll, so 10:6 total so far. 6 or so hours left! |
