R1-Match 2: Beam Tank vs. Roach

Today's matchup is between Beam Tank and Roach!

Beam Tank, infamous for his Beam Tank Trio team! Easily one of the best AI teams in the business, the BTT are well known for their sheer power! Too close, and you're drilled to death; Too far, and their beams have ULTRA homing at long range, and you're juggled to death; In the middle, safe from homing beams and drills, and you're likely to be quickly encircled to your doom.

Roach, while not as famous, is still one of Gotcha Force's most well known fighters in the East, thanks to someone called gokiburst. Roach has slain dragons, gatling gunners, and hordes of Beta units, all while keeping his silver shell spit shined! Truly an underappreciated legend in the underappreciated world of GF!

It makes me happy that I have to abstain, it'd be a little hard to vote.

*And, in the case of Beam Tank, you really should try fighting one at long range. Take a Sigma, go on the other side of the map, and try to dodge BT's Beam. It's got crazy homing at long range, and it WILL follow you.

The Roach is a lot of fun to use against the Beta unit, Gatling Gunners, and other such early-game missions.
Beam Tank is fun to use against just about anything.

i chose roach because i don't really feel anything for beam tank, but found amusing the thought of roach climbing up past round 1

first things first poor Roach.

one on one the Beam Tank would have a floor less victory.

what would happen is the tank would open fire on the roach.

meaning the roach did not have a chance.

Only if the tank doesn't care about ammo conservation.
Granted, ammo recharges, so it doesn't really make any difference whatsoever, but the Roach can only lay traps (and not even hard-to-avoid ones), so Beam Tank can just casually drive in and drill it to death.

realistically you wont even need to attack. since the tank is faster than the roach you could run it over.
