Okay, so I was trying to get Leopard (Just need one Data Crystal!!!), and I was playing the mission "Kotaro's crash course!!!" I used Dark Knight against Tetsuya's Samurai Shogun just to test out my shield blocking skills. HIS SHOGUN SLASH DID NOT PENETRATE!!! The best part is that Dark Knight doesn't flinch from shield blocking. It was hilarious. So after Tetsuya's borgs are down and I've gotten rid of Tstumo's Orange Fighter, I just stand still, facing the tanks, blocking their attacks.

More epic than that: using him to fight the Ultimate Cannon unit. It's about as fun as you'd expect.

Well, when you're done with that and possibly start farming for an alt Ultimate Cannon at some point, there you go. Problem solved.

I dont know but I never normally just stand Infront of dragons and let them kill me Usually not a good idea. However, there's nothing you can do about that if your Sirius, Death Arc, or Antares.

Dark Knight never flinches when blocking (unless he's being hit by Drill robots B shots.). He can walk through everything else as long as none of those attacks hit an exposed area.

Dark Knight never flinches when blocking (unless he's being hit by Drill robots B shots.). Is that to imply that he can actually block them or that he flinches as a result of getting hit by something that I'm pretty sure goes through shields?

Death Eye: He can technically block them, negating the damage they would have caused, but then they move through the shield and hit him anyways.
J: Sorta. The explosion is blockable, but it still does damage if it moves past the shield. If someone drops a ICBM on you, you're boned. But if you're on the outer edge of the explosion, you may be able to not die if it doesn't get past the shield. (Other knights are actually better at blocking explosions because of the shield flinch they do. It pushes them away from the explosion and still blocks it. It's not very consistent though.)
(More info from when i was testing BK and from my general play time with Knights.)
When i tested BK, the only things that he couldn't negate with his shield were those waves that come off of certain melee moves (Axe knight for example), explosions (ICBM, Airplane bombs, Ninja Grenades) because of his lack of shield flinch (the flinch when you block actually helps against most explosions because it forces you away from it and detonates the bomb where you blocked it.), and drill robot's drills. (Those just go through everything and do damage the entire time. It's different than a Dragon's X or something, which get blocked perfectly even though the attack can still hit other borgs that aren't currently blocking it.)
Melee attacks are hard to consistently block because Dark Knight doesn't have that shield flinch, so he isn't pushed away from the attack.
If ye put a DK in front of a dragon and have it use it's X, DK won't be pushed back.
If ye put a Imperial Knight in front of a dragon and have it use it's X, Imp knight will be pushed back.
So DK is only different from other knights (in terms of blocking) by the fact that he doesn't flinch backwards when he blocks a move, allowing him to walk through most ranged attacks unimpaired.
Dashing is not recommended as the shield disappears first and i think reappears last, so DK gets shot by whatever beam he was trying to block.
