I haven't seen anything from you about the thread I made. And it's happned in the past. Like soul eater. I guess soul eater was just so damn good that it's an exception to what I'm about to say or maybe your the exception the possibilities are endless. Face it, your just as bad as us if not worse because you dont admit it. Although no matter what we say initially we always try to watch it eventually even if it takes longer than usual. I cant say my methods are perfect in fact I could be using terrible methods for all I know, but at least I tell them what it's about. Just telling them it exists leads to a 'oh ok you have fun with that.' reaction from us and continued pestering gives us a predisposed biased towards not wanting to like the show because we feel that the only reason we are watching it is to inflate our ego by letting us think about ourselves as 'good people' for trying out a new anime we previously had no interest in. At least, thats my view on the matter and if it's not yours, well, I'm quite clearly a dick because thats how any recommendation from anyone ever actually works for me and I've seen it in a lot of people especially my Dad who uses terrible methods of trying to entice me into his favorite films. He says I dont have an open mind but he shows equal resistance against anime... It's a shame people never admit that they can be tossers on occasion... especially over something as mundane as entertainment...

Actually, Its more likely for me to watch an anime if I know nothing about it instead of "I don't really like the first look at this plot so I won't watch and miss out on a good anime." It's a suprise. It's what should be done with anime. It's what you did with Soul Eater, Code Geass, Guilty Crown, Darker than Black...shall I continue? If you decide not to watch an anime based on the first glance at the plot, well, if it was by yourself that would make sense, but on recommendation is just an insult to that persons taste. I'm nt even sure if I have a valid argument and I can barely be bothered to imagine a response this time... either way it's clear to me that your still exactly the same as I thought you were but while as people like me and Riku use the excuse 'why should we care' or 'we dont want to start learning new things too soon' your just like 'no spoilers please.' It's exactly the same thing, different excuse, ego boosting, and it's all pathetic. Us three just aren't the type of people to recommend anime to each other because it's always like 'watch this!' 'No!' Then they do and they hate it and you still didn't dispute recommendations giving you a predisposed bias against hating the anime, if anything you just explained that you do. In an ideal world- no, not even and ideal world, a world where humans actually made sense- we'd all be excited to try out new things. As it stands we make excuses so that we can go back and sit down, watching old crap and only caring about what we care about. It's disgusting. I really don't care much about spoilers, but I tend to enjoy an anime more the less I know about it.
