What are your views on euthanasia? It's been a recurring issue in this game i've been playing.

Mercy killing.
I feel that euthanasia should only be performed under extreme circumstances.

Oh so if someone has a disease and is going to dye a slow and painful death they might ask a friend or member of the family to kill them?
Thats it right? Im not really against it as id probably want someone to kill me if i had a terrible future ahead of me.

Generally, I'm okay if its a slow and painful death, but if they're not going to die slow and painfully, euthanasia shouldn't be an option.

I have worked with people nothing short of probably wanting this.
Seeing that has made me told family and friends that if I would ever fall into a situation where a machine is basically breathing for me and constant medication makes my internal body functions, that they'll should pull the plug, as that is no life anyway.
So basically, I'm for euthanasia.
I think we humans have already overstepped the natural boundaries as it is, since modern medicine has basically removed natural selection from our society.
I'm not saying we should let everyone that's turning sick or injured just die, but when it comes to the extreme where a person is basically already dead.

^but only in "barely living" situations, right? I feel that way too. WHen someone is just a shell, and has no more thoughts, no memory, no conscience, and no hope, maybe it's better to end it for them. But then, who are we to control the lives of others? The One who gave life should take it, right? But, since animals have no souls, I believe there are no moral issues with killing them on the spot. If it were not so, meat would be murder.

No. I was just thinking about hearing the views of fellow board members, not much unlike you asking our religious beliefs. Like i said before, It was a issue in a game, and they stood against it.

It was Trauma Centerrrrrrrr I don't think that's strange, for the genre of medical sim.
