I don't think the score effects which borg or capsule or any order in which you get them just that if you get over say 25,000 you'll get a random prize every time, i suspect it works like this, your in the first drill bot match score 20,000 you will get a borg - random borg that was in the match, you get score 25,000 you will get capsule of drill bot - random letter capsule given, not on play 1 i got a drill robot capsul on first play through

Just had an idea, if everyone played gotcha force on emulator, everyone could swap virtual memory cards and get alternate colours of every Borg

Just had an idea, if everyone played gotcha force on emulator, everyone could swap virtual memory cards and get alternate colours of every Borg I'm too lazy to go into a dissertation about how that wouldn't work, but it wouldn't. Good idea, but nope, couldn't accomplish that goal even if we did follow through with it.

yeah it would, if everyone downloaded the same copy of the game from the same website eg. (gotcha force (U)) and then went into the emulator folder,
Copyed the memory card file, zipped it, and sent it to another person, that person could then unzip it, and rename it memorycard 2 and play gotcha force on emulator, go to the place where you swap borgs and capsules and and copy over what borgs and capsules you need, then repeat with other peoples memory card untill you have all the alternate borgs and all characters, trust me it works, i do this to get the borgs i want, its just easyier

The problems are as follows: 1) We would have to collectively have all of the alts in order to actually end up with all of the alts. Whether or not we do depends on your definition of "alt." I presume you mean all of the alternate forms as opposed to just the one with the multicolored cube, in which case we do not, and in all likelihood won't for another 20 years. 2) In order for everyone to play on an emulator, everyone would have to have some insane computer power to be able to run the game at a bearable speed, and there's a pretty good chance that we won't all be in possession of computers that awesome at the same time for a looong time. 3) Perhaps most importantly, we all have varying levels of legitimacy we hold ourselves to in our Gotcha-ing. I can't speak for anyone else, but I myself would not participate in this, as it would essentially amount to mass cloning and distribution of everything. Using this method to simulate real-life trading I have no problem with, but as soon as it crosses the boundaries of what's normally possible it becomes one of those things I'd rather not involve myself with, personally.
