What is your favourite gfx and sfx?

So yeah! What is your favourite graphical and sound effect and why?

My favourite graphical effect has to be Dark Knights orange aoe thingy.

I can't remember what it's called but i know Command Girls X attack has that sound. It's such an awesome sound.

Seems right for this to be in Borg Discussion, given your's is about Dark Knight.

Mine's probably the Buster Laser from Command Girl, just because it's so synonymous with death and destruction. When you see that cannon arm rise and the end flash, you know something is about to take a hit.

The sound is also great, it's like a thin, crisp burst which is perfectly reminiscent of Command Girl's actual Laser weapon.

Graphical? The Ultimate Beam vaporizing light.
Whatever the sound equivalent of the word "graphical" is? I don't typically play with audio, so I'll just say the ICBM explosion.

For graphics, I like the extra "halo" your shots get when you finish the last enemy. I also like the reflective properties of the character's textures, makes 'em look really nice.

I don't really know what stands out for sound...but I like that G Red talks in battle!

Graphical effect... Well, it definitely is the hyper mode, for me. Not sure if that counts, but that whole thing, where the screen goes black and there's tons of lights. Then the whole HUD starts getting really spazzy, and the aura on your borg. Really makes you feel hyper.

Alternatively, I really like Sapphire and Ruby Knights' beam lances. They look so bright and energy-like, almost fluid. Looks great with the semi-transparent energy shields.

My favorite sound effect is Teleport Ninja's teleporting sound. Sounds so cool.

Does anyone know how to get sounds from gotcha force? i want to make an animation using the sfx, not the music though ouch on the ears sometimes, and not action paced enough

I agree with that ;D Both of them just make you feel ...


That said, I also like the sound it makes whenever you use an electric attack on something. I don't know why, it's just very ... electric-y
