Persona 4 the animation/trinity soul (although trinity soul isn't that good)
darker than black to an extent.
I obviously dont expect everything to be noticed but I was just trying to prove a point.

This seems kind of meh. The concepts all right I suppose but I think it would have been better if that chaser guy had actually killed whats his face and then whatshis face would have to wrestle back control of his body from the dream place while being attacked by some of dem dumb cats.
Merry also seemed kind of force. I almost face palmed when she said 'pretty sad you know?' it's like throwing the flower right in your face, it may be a pretty flower but I would still rather not have it in my face! I prefer to admire it at my own pace!
MAYBE I'm just trying to find things to hate because I'll keep watching and I'm glad it has a dub at the very least. Besides dont judge a book by it's cover and that stuff.

The opening is good but not THAT good, definitely up there in my top 10, but really I prefer soul eaters, gurren laganns, anything from persona 4, code geass, and Future diary (Both openings kick but). Still probably better than most of FMA's numerous openings but not all of them, death notes (especially death note's second, I rate that as my least favorite opening ever) and numerous others like Sgt frog's which I rate as my second least favorite. Anyway enough of that. I've only seen up to episode 2 because anime sites feel like working at their own pace, that being a fat kid who will finish the marathon when he's finished stuffing his face with dung, but I digress who was the woman and why should I care about her when the chaser and the cats are still about? And more importantly, why should I care about Merry (beside the fact that the show is named after her) when I'm looking forward to the chaser appearing again so that something interesting will happen, as opposed to meeting new characters who are introduced for no reason and die for no reason other than to show that there are other dream demons besides the chaser who I dont care about. Basically what I'm saying is my favorite character is the chaser because when he's about plot actually takes place, I wish this show was called 'dream chaser' which sounds about as cool as dream eater Merry (Screw that part) and have the plot revolve around him instead of fetishfuel/crybaby/idiot thing? All of those were rhetorical questions dont answer and I'm in a critical mood because I've had a negative influence on me for the past month. Dont take anything I say seriously. Most of it is only a small fraction of how I feel compared to the overall notbadishness of this show.In all honesty it is trying to explain stuff and a slow plot is good but if the chaser isn't going to appear soon I'm going to start smothering myself in my teachers cat's fur hoping he'll turn up somewhere. And maybe teach it to walk and talk and do that weird rapper hand thing then... Ahh! Stop listening to me already!  |

^The first five episodes are slow. Give it time. That lady was the key that introduced one of the main villains of the series, the one that killed the dream demon with all the traps and crap. You won't actually SEE her until episode 5 or 7. You'll hear about her soon enough.
Also, recognize the voice? It's the same voice that is Blaire's dubbed voice.
And John Doe WILL return soon. And one last thing.
Don't be hatin on Merry.

Jeez my computer just sucks today it broke after I finished typing another rant and now I wont remember it properly.  Seems to despise me copypasting, watching anime, or doing productive things like ragging on a relatively unknown anime. Okay lets try this again, hopefully with less waffle. So, it takes almost half the series for the show to get good?  Merry... oh yeah I said that I dont like her and I apologise for thinking that. The chaser is actually quite a generic villan (although apparently Blaire is te real villan which I hypothesize means that Merry's clothes are her child, and that her evil plot is to infect the entire world with her terrible, fetishy fashion sense) but compared to the other characters he is extremely interesting and looks awesome! But then again Merry is incredibly deep and interesting like a good fictional character if they had a hat they were obsessed with (Indiana Jones Merry?) (I had a really good joke for this part earlier) Compared to whatshis face, you know, THAT guy, the main protagonist and all that and I sometimes want to reach into the screen and shove an ecstasy pill or some other mind altering drug that makes people interesting so that he'll be less like an empty brown cereal box in a brown empty supermarket sitting on an equally bland shelf. Then I said something else or maybe thats when things went crazy... Either way my statement in bold from my previous post still stands. *sigh* Just not the same. |

Lol guess I should be watching before I go complaining. NO. DON'T WATCH THE END! ...I just did. WORST ENDING EVER!  Its a cop out, Imma read the manga, it covers the whole story. Besides, heroes pulled a Goku. I loved the series up until the last couple episodes. It sickened me at how bad the last episode or two was. I gotta watch something else. Oh! I know! angel beats! |

eh thats a shame. Angel beats is very good, I forgot that I mentioned it to you but something about it feels off to me. Probably just me Still recommended, though. But really, my largest recommendations at this point are persona 4 the A and future diary, although in mere subs. But wait that episode count for sgt frog is INSANE. I could never watch a series that long. FMA:B was stretching it at 64 episodes but it was worth it. WAIT! FMA:B, THATS what I recommend the most. Definitely my favorite anime. |

And by seen, got interested, read a review, then decided that it probably wasn't worth watching.
