Birthdays are really nothing to be happy about. They simply state that you are one year closer to death. Uh... I would say "Happy birthday," but you just said a birthday is nothing to be happy about, so that would be rather contradictory... |

nope. Birthdays celebrate when you came into this world, and the time that has passed since your birth.
If birthdays were as you said, they would be closer to funerals.
