Lawrence began clawing at the walls as he frantically tried to escape. There was a pounding laughter in his ears that got louder the more he tried to escape.
"I dont understand! I had the pen!" He yelled.
Someone appeared on the sofa twiddling a pen in his fingers, around and around, playing with his long and thick curly hair as well. He had a notebook on his lap.
Keeping his face in the dark, he spoke quietly but imposingly.
"I see that you have finally understood the meaning of your existence."
Lawrence turned around slowly, looking feral.
"No need to look at me like that. I gave you a life, didn't I Lawrence?" He said.
Lawrence looked at him carefully. This boy that had appeared and seemed to be more real then the environment around him, and himself.
"Call me... Alberenza. I like that name oh so much." He said as he turned his face towards Lawrence slowly, until Lawrence was looking into his deep brown eyes, that looked as black as space.
Lawrence broke out into cold sweat. He knew exactly whom he was looking upon.
Alberenza held up a scrap of paper.
"The very first story you ever wrote. My was it a good one." Said Alberenza.
He coughed and read the short story allowed.
"God wrote down all of our names and brought us to life. He's really cool and stuff."
Alberenza frowned in a mocking manner.
"Well... you were 5. I wonder if you realise that that in fact created the universe which in turn created yours?" He asked.
Lawrence had a look of anger on his face.
"You used me... to make yourself." He said through gritted teeth.
"No one can really say what came first. The chicken or the egg. That sort of logic even though it was clearly the egg however I digress. I wrote you because it seemed like a good idea at the time and continued on from there. But the funny thing is... no matter how hard you try, you can never escape from these words like your inceptions can. I'm not even in here. I'm snug at home about to go to bed for the evening." The boy explained.
"I DONT CARE! You gave me power to abuse, then made them manifest inside me and give me self awareness you created then KILLED Thanatos I LOVED HER! How can I ever forgive you because it seemed like a 'good time!" Yelled Lawrence.
Alberenza chuckled and stood up.
"Look, I didn't ask for your forgiveness, Lawrence. In fact the reason I appear to you now is to test the worth of your existence as my creation. If you win I'll recognise your worth as a person. However I can asure you that thats impossible. Time for your story to end... INCEPTION!"
Alberenza clicked his fingers and they were in the middle of the cosmos, stars twinkling all around them and it made both combatants notice how small they really were.
Al was sitting on a giant throne that seemed highly out of place. It shimmered like a sun.
Al stood up and threw off his cape, and Lawrence noticed that he was wearing the same outfit as the one Lawrence had obtained from justice except blue where red and black where white.
"Your ego is despicable..." Growled Lawrence as he made a sword from his pen.
"Hey, I got to put it SOMEWHERE." Al retorted, making two swords.
The two faced off against each other as a comet flew past, as if to signal the beginning of the last battle.
