Lawrence sat on the sofa doing his maths homework, trying to ignore power's seduction.
"Listen. Killing people isn't that bad. If you act like that wimp fear people will prey on you. It's survival of the fittest and if you want to survive I think you know what you'll need." He said, face right up against the bars.
"I'm no idiot. You employ to MUCH power. If left to your own devices you'll be the only one left. You proved it yourself." Said Lawrence for what felt like the billionth time.
"But you have a power not even I could ever obtain. That pen can make inceptions. Life. Make more like fear... or better yet more powers! Epic power struggles in space for all eternity come on what do you say?" He said as he licked his lips and his tentacles started gripping the bars tightly.
Lawrence sighed and picked up power, scribbling on the notebook to make a word barrier and slamming him inside.
There was yet another notebook on the table.
Lawrence gritted his teeth. He had an idea. Picking up his pen, he began to write.
Daisy is a girl who lives a normal life with her parents. She goes to her school and has fun with her friends as a carefree 10 year old.
Her parents are however heavily in debt, unbeknownst to her, and as such they took out loans from banks and then gambled it all away.
One night when she was in bed, the mafia came to knock on their door.
While she was in bed, her parents paid back their debt. Blood soaked sheets and screams of anguish. Daisy was left alive, as only her parents had debt.
Daisy never got over the mourning period. She sat at the cemetery for many years weeping and crying, if only she could bring them back.
a black figure climbed out of the grave.
"Are you sure that you want to spend the rest of your life like this? Alone and dead inside? Let me help you revive what is lost." He said, holding out his outstretched, rotting hand.
Daisy aged 16 finally had her parents back, but they were lacking the spark of life they once had.
"This isn't right. These aren't my parents." She said angrily.
"I want total control over life and death." She said to herself again.
Daisy became the empress of death, Thanatos. She easily recalled the souls of her parents, but as a god she couldn't go to see them herself. She was trapped in her world of death, watching the world and killing those whose time had come. Many years later after taking the lives of so many the time came for her to end her parent's lives.
"I became this being so that I could revive the dead... but I had to sacrifice so many to do so. Was it worth it Lawrence?" She asked.
Thanatos climbed out of the notebook and the lord of death looked at her creator with doe like eyes.
"Why did you create me to be like this?" She asked sadly.
"And why was the plot so poor? More holes than a sponge! Your normally much better. I LOVED being in world war 3." Interjected power.
Lawrence snapped his notebook shut.
"Thanatos. Death. I see that death simply isn't worth the trouble. It causes pain for everyone." Said Lawrence, shaking his head.
Power burst out again, wide eyed.
"What! But who cares about a little death if you have power?" He said in shock.
Lawrence had a twitch of anger on his face as he picked up power and threw him into the fire.
Power latched onto Lawrence and pulled him in too, burning Lawrence's face however thanatos pulled him out again.
"Oh, you are going to pay." Said Power angrily.
Due to the fact that Lawrence didn't burn his notebook, Power jumped out of it again and charged upstairs.
Lawrence burst into his parent's room while following power to see him bludgeoning them to death with his tentacles, laughing manically and drinking in the fun of killing in the real world.
Power looked petrified when he saw Lawrence and his pen, then jumped out of the window, taking the form of Max and running away.
Lawrence didn't care though. He sobbed as he looked at his parents mangled corpses, and cried silently into his mother's chest.
"Just like me. Your parents died." Said Thanatos, walking up to Lawrence and patting him on the back.
Except Lawrence wasn't just like her. They died because of him. It was his fault.
