I'm going to have to go with G Black. Even though he has less HP, he makes up for it with his ability to combo charge B > charge X > charge B. I believe the Buster Laser fires faster than the G Buster too.

It does. The buster laser fires faster than the G Buster.
That said, i still prefer Neo G Red. This may be because i have 3 Command Girls on my force, though, so i already have an abundance of Buster Lasers to spam.
Neo's main advatange is just the fact that he can be gotten to be Gold, and very easily at that. This means he has a huge amount of extra HP, as the extra health is further increased by 6 levels' worth.
The Buster Laser of G Black is also overrated. Compared to Command Girl, G Black is a much easier to hit target, as he doesn't dash to the side as effectively as Command Girl. He's also unable to use Command Girl's time-delayed blast strategy, which is arguably her best attack. That is, she can use her Buster Laser, hitting once, and then time the second shot to hit right when you become vulnerable again, and then repeat for the last shot. As soon as a skilled Command Girl player lands the first shot, you are almost guaranteed to take the next 2 shots along with it; there's just no time to dodge it. G Black has no such capability. He needs to charge his Buster Laser, and this takes too long for him to use the time-delayed blast strategy, and this nullifies the usefulness of his Buster Laser in general, as the risk in using the blast (you stand sitll for a while and can be knocked out of the shot mid-animation) isn't compensated for by the (almost guaranteed) promise of 2 extra shots that Command Girl gets.
Since his one extra move is completely inferior to Command Girl's, there is no reason (in my eyes) to run him over a Neo G Red (especially if you have Gold, but Normal will do) and a Command Girl.

While i have never used g black. I have seen gameplay videos, and i assume he is more powerful than neo g red. That said, i cant really make a vote, it doesnt seem like a fiar comparison. And i prefer reg g red anyways lol

I like NGR better... his melee's come out a lot faster and has a nicer looking melee combo. He also has more bullets I've only played with G Black a little, so I don't know if he gets any ammo bonuses or not. I do like how GB has a complete moveset though...*sigh* if only all of the upper tier borgs had full movesets [Kind of on topic]: How do you dodge their insta-lasers effectively? When I do manage to dodge them I didn't even try to dodge and I just see the beam fly past me, but when I actually try to dodge it I always get shot ><. Help please? lol

I believe G Black does get more ammo when he levels, but he will always have less than NGR's ammo no matter what level.
For dodging lasers, move perpendicular to the laser and try to stay close. The closer you are, the easier it is to dodge. Other than that, I don't think there's anything else you can do besides hiding behind obstacles and peeking out to shoot.

well for me it depends on what "better" means. Neo G Red is superior because he can do more combos with the sword, which means he is more fun for me to play. G Black is deadlier in combat, what with his buster laser and the G Crash that Neo G Red also has. G Black also has the same basic aerial sword moves as Neo G Red, so for me there really isn't too much of an argument as to who's more deadly, disregarding the 100 gfe difference.

Just saying, I'm pretty sure (Like 80%) that G-Black can be glitched to be gold too.

G Black every time. G Black can easily lock red in a combo because he can do EVERYTHING faster. You guys dont use him the way I use him which is to g crash around everywhere, making him impossible to hit. By the way I get hit loads as NGR because of his atrocious by comparison starting times for g crash and everything else mele. NGR simply feels clunky and awkward to use after a play through or two of using G Black.

Neo by far. He's easier to control and maintain a steady melee combo with. I don't like Black's sword-shockwave move at the end of his attack combo. It more often then not leaves you open for enemy counterattacks. At least it does for me.

I'd also like to note that Neo seems to have super armor sometimes. I've seen him take a fireball from a dragon like it was nothing.

Yeah, I know, I do it with him too but the bullets always hit me because the speed makes a difference. I think just about any borg can get super armour for whatever odd reason...
