When did Beam Samurai become any kind of titan?
Anyway, Beam Gunner's the better spammer by far, but I think Cyber Ninja's probably too fast for Beam Gunner to get a hit, and Beam Samurai can only melee, so Cyber Ninja.
Unless this was a matter of preference as opposed to who would win in a fight, in which case I'd say Beam Samurai; the other two are too easy to use.

Beam samuraiis insanely strong. That blade has so much range too. Yes it does (I believe I've called him something along the lines of "Beam Sephiroth" on at least one occasion), but in my experience his melees do rather negligible damage at that distance. At close range? Yeah, they do some insane damage there, but that far away? No way.

Then I've been doing it wrong, apparently. ...It doesnt. There is no way to do it wrong, it just doesnt. Then why does my Beam Samurai seem to do less damage from farther away? I'm pretty sure the only explanation is that I'm using him incorrectly, attacking at the wrong angle or some absurd crap like that.

Hmm. My "elite" team consists of these 3 and Cyber Girl Hyper. She just seemed to fit well with them, being a powerful futuristic shiny person and all.

I'm pretty sure the only explanation is that I'm using him incorrectly, attacking at the wrong angle or some absurd crap like that. i think it's just that when the sword is charged the hitbox is smaller the further away form the sword it gets. when you're right next to your opponent, the charged up beam sword lands a lot more hits than if you were further away. Hmm. My "elite" team consists of these 3 and Cyber Girl Hyper. She just seemed to fit well with them, being a powerful futuristic shiny person and all. i think that just about every offensive tribe has it's own cyber/beam version, except for the winged borgs. that's what garuda is for but i think that you're right. in my opinion cyber girl hyper does a heck of a lot better than beam gunner in a one-on-one battle, but i also believe that cyber ninja is just too fast for any other borg to touch him, save garuda, and possibly death saucer.

yeah true i've always hated going up against death saucer with any borg really because half the time its beams would spawn INSIDE my borg, and then would follow me and hit me when it materializes, and there isn't much i can do about that.

Really? I've never had any issue against Death Saucer ever. In fact, i love seeing that thing spawn, because it's basically taking off lots of my opponent's GF energy, at no cost to me.
Then again, i'm using a Command Girl, who can avoid Death Saucer's beams ad infinitum.

Beam Samurai's untransformed sword does the same damage at all ranges and lengths. His transformed sword does damage per hit, and has a set length that doesn't deviate at any time. Assuming a BS (HAHAHAHAH) can live long enough, he'll be able to kill pretty much everyone else from across the map, through walls and whatnot.
He'll prolly get killed first though V.V
