Me. I started wanting a non-portable console around the time the Wii came out, and Wii can play GC games, so I just got a Wii.

On this part, the DS made what I think all back-compatible consoles should have: individual game slots.

The only excuse i have for buying a Wii (If i can find the dosh) is that my Gamecube may be packing up soon. Since Wii's release i've never been that interested in it because i've only seen about 5 Games i might like (And i used to buy a Nintendo Magazine to be sure i saw what games where hot and what games were not)

I'll probably buy a Wii eventually but i'll probably buy more VC games then Wii Games.

Going by memory here. I'm not sure if I still have all of them, but I have/had:

• 2 NESes
  
• 2 SNESes (Possibly 3, I don't remember where they are except for one of them)
  
• 1 N64
  
• 2 GameCubes ;D
  
• 1 Wii
  
• 1 Game Boy
  
• 3 Game Boy Colors (1 blue, 1 red/kind of pinkish, 1 green. The blue one is mine, the others are in my sister's possession)
  
• 2 Game Boy Advances (No SPs, No Micros. Mine's black, my sister's is translucent bluish, I believe)
  
• 2 Nintendo DS Lites (Mine's blue, my sister's is red. Yeah, my sister tends to also get the handhelds at the same time I do. Usually for Christmas. But I forget the story behind that green GBC)
  
• 1 Game Boy Pocket (I think. I've never used it, I've never seen anyone use it, it just sat in a drawer in the kitchen for longer than I can remember. And now I can't find it...)
  

And, technically, emulators for all of them but the DS.

I just remembered this poll is outdated now that the 3DS is out.
Anyway, with the 1/3 price drop persuading someone to get me one will be a lot easier. Too bad it doesn't really have any games that interest me. Especially now that Mega Man Legends 3 is cancelled.

I DON'T CARE IF IT'S COMPLETELY USELESS WHEN ALL I PLAY GAME BOY GAMES ON ANYMORE IS AN EMULATOR, I WANT IT!

Speaking of emulators, I think there's one for the Virtual Boy. Which is odd, considering it's the old-fashioned 3D console, so wouldn't there have to be some kind of specialized 3D glasses?
