www.usad.org/Has anyone else heard of this organization? Its an academic competition akin to a spelling contest or a geography bee, except with a ton of subjects instead of 1. If your school doesn't have a team, you should try and convince the administration to create one. Maybe we'll see each other next year at nationals!

I don't believe my school has a team for this.
And they're never going to get one that actually succeeds; they have absolutely no money they'd spend on anything cool, for one thing, and the vast majority of underclassmen are too stupid to stand a chance in such a competition anyway.

Actually, upperclassmen are usually the players. 7 of our 12 are seniors this year. And besides, it has the potential to bring massive amounts of fame to your school. Mine has won the state competition 11 years in a row!

The upperclassmen of next year (the soonest we could possibly have a team, if I'm not mistaken) are the underclassmen to whom I am referring. Nobody in my school cares about that, really. And neither does the administration. That is impressive. It also leads me to believe your school is one of those rich ones with superior educational materials. |
