Makes no sense to me. Must be gearing up for a sequel or this is a ridiculous sales ploy.

This is great. Once it hits the states anyway. Or if it does for that matter

Either way, it's good news for the fandom. If we don't get a sequel, at least we get more people into the game.

There is absolutely no reason for them to do this if they're not making a sequel.

alright reprints! i honestly can't believe that this is happening right now. as of present, i'm more denying its existence. if they put up commercials for it, though, then that would be pretty amazing. i wonder just how many people will get the word that they'll be reprinting copies of gotcha force.
anyone know how often games get reprinted?

Just a few days after the sale opened, and apparently they're all out of stock already.

^ true that.
just looking around at some websites that are posting this news. i'm surprised at how many people are interested in getting this game now. heck, i'm surprised that apparently reprints almost never happen, and Gotcha happens to be that special one.
some say that Capcom is just getting rid of some extra copies they had in storage some years back, but others say that its a prelude to something HUGE, like, revival of gotcha force huge.

Regardless of what their plan was, the speed at which they sold out should lead them to make the sequel if they have any knowledge of how to run a business as successfully as possible. Either way, this needs to come to the US so I can tell some people to get it, then laugh 6 months later when they think they're good at the game while I have years of experience that allows me to annihilate any of them with Death Borg Nu. [/hyperbole] Actually, come to think of it... I havent had the $ until recently, but i dont want to buy a copy at a ridiculous price online only to either be shipped a broken one or have it break in the mail. Lol ...maybe they did this so that people don't pay absurd prices for it online. Kind of like As I Lay Dying did with their first album.

They probably did it so THEY get the profit, and not scalpers. I mean, those prices were still pretty insanely priced lol. $61 for a Gamecube game? I mean, it's good, and it's getting rare, but they didn't do it to save their customers money...
But hopefully they do end up taking our money in the form of GF2. I just hope that NRG doesn't end up as a DLC character >_>, or any other character turns into DLC for that matter lol.

If they released this in the states followed by a sequel, or ina bundle pack with 1 and 2 together, it would be the equivalent of a triple rainbow... No wait A quadruple rainbow!!!
