My apologies if this is an existing thread, but i always wondered as a kid, is it possible to obtain the combiner borgs outright or must you combine into them in battle and when your gauge is out so is the combination?

Sadly, they are only usable in hyper mode.

Ah. Well thanks for answering my question. Also lamesauce. And just so this thread has more use than 1 question, which borgs would you combine? Such as one borg with anothers attacks, or a combination of the two borgs into one with the looks and attacks mixed?

Sadly, they are only usable in hyper mode. Well, you can get them with the glitch, but they don't work properly and they often freeze the game. Hence the word usable. And to answer your second question, Death Eye with Ultimate Beam. ;D

most of the machine borgs that dont transform combine... I know that cyber dragon and death head can combine into cyber death dragon, and machine dragon and machine head combine into a smaller cyber death dragon. I dont know all of them, I never use combining borgs. They combine for twice as long as hyper mode's duration, and normally have a mega beam of death stronger than the ultimate cannons. Except it's a long charge and if it's two human players requires perfect timing to pull off.

I have 3 or 4 (Mostly) working copies of Cyber Machine Genbu that i use when i get bored. I got them all with the glitch of course, you just gotta make sure to use the code for the borg on top (So either Machine Red or Cyber Mars, depending on the Cyber Machine itself). I haven't been able to get a suzaku yet though.

Oh death eye. That actually would be hilarious to see, wait this guy is using the desth eye? Thats so lame, proceeds to be taken out by the ultimate beam. Wait what just happened haha. So if the glitch allows for broken ones to be made, i wonder if an action replay would net a working one?

It'd finally give him a use at least. *Still can't stop thinking of Roach as a French Waiter...

Umm dudette, i think that would break the game lol. Nah, it'd just break the Roach; they don't have the immunity you'd expect from a cockroach in a nuclear explosion.

But Roach bombs have a time delay so he might be able to walk away in time. That is, if the other borg doesn't decide to intentionally set off the bomb and kill the ICBM Roach.

0.o gasp! I was lied too! Also if he cant survive that he is now a pointless borg. Kinda like the icbm tanks, and death icbm. They basically get 1 shot and die. Wasted borg just to kill a couple enemy borgs.

There is one sure-fire use for a DeathICBM/WalkingBomb I found:
The Hero Borg Unit Missions
About five or six of these show up throughout the storyline. In these battles, a team of five 'hero' borgs come at you at once. I think it's a Cyber Hero, Metal Hero, Gold Hero, Star/Planet Hero, and Shadow/Killer Girl. They are the >only< borgs in the opposing team, and they all show up at once.
So crash a Death IBCM or Walking Bomb near them as soon as the battle starts. Four times out of five, a well-placed IBCM explosion will win you the entire battle. If the battle doesn't end, it means Gold/Metal Hero was smart enough to be transforming at the time of the explosion, so just have a good borg behind it to wipe it out. Going one on one/two is a lot better than one on five.
...Oh, and you still win borgs and chips, even if they died by the explosion.

For that point i understand them, but it hardly makes them useful otherwise lol. Also ive always wondered, how is shadow/killer GIRL! a hero borg? Cause in her description she is a girl borg... At least im pretty sure she was...

At least im pretty sure she was... She is. It doesn't make sense to anyone else, either... that I know of. And yes, the entire point of the Death ICBM and Walking Bomb is to take down really annoying groups of Borgs. The ICBM Tank, on the other hand, is like a Death ICBM that can explode multiple times with a bit of skill and enemy incompetence... or maybe some incredible teamwork...

Yea, well it has the ability to shoot crappy machine gun bullets too, and move, which makes it slightly more useful than an UC. but it still dies rather quickly... Or at least in my experience it always did. But i suck with tank borgs. So yea lol

Or at least in my experience it always did. But i suck with tank borgs. So yea lol The Ultimate Cannon has its uses, too; I can win with it in that one Tama battle where those other Borgs just spawn on top of the Death Arc and shoot you from there and he doesn't use the power boost unless he survives until the ICBM Tank shows up at which point he spins around in circles while the ICBM Tank spams missiles engulfing the entire battlefield in a nuclear conflagration that doesn't even hurt either of them because they're in hyper mode. And the Pop Honey mission. If anything, the ICBM Tank's limited arsenal makes it less useful than the UC, since it has equally limited mobility and only one decent attack.
