The Galactic Emperor

Personally I think it's both, because he's a giant fortress borg, and you have to kill him ON his ship, but his attacks are so ANNOYING, especially when he crys havoc AND UNLEASHES THE ICE AND LAZERS OF WAR!!!

So yeah, that's what I think of the Galactic Emperor. Possibly the only epic final boss outside of the Wild Arms universe.

I love fighting against GE.
The battle is so epic when he's firing his multi-shot-attack (when he's weak) VS my Sirius' Max Shot.

I can just imagine the view from my partners, as shots and beams fire all over the place.

I just wish they could've kept the Japanese lyrics to the song, though...

No offense, Sirius, but I found the singer's voice to that song ear-bleeding. I got used to it after a while though.

I find GE a little too easy. Any borg that can strafe in the air and shoot at the same time has pretty much already won the fight, not to mention the very cheap Proto Titan method

GE certainly looks epic. Fortress+Floating brain+Shield=EPIC

He isn't that much of a pain to defeat now, but for the first couple plays, it took me more than a couple tries to defeat him.

Maybe with each play, the enemy borgs go up a level, especially Galactic Emperor's.

I always found his American voice to be hilarious. It seriously made the mighty Galactic Emperor into a joke. But the Japanese voice? Holy crap. It would actually feel like I was fighting a final boss if he talked like that with each playthrough. He actually sounds like...

Totally agreed! Then again, it's hard not to sound like him when the song has the same repeating "ga" sound as the opening of a certain other series.

Ok, I'm not sure if you guys heard this, but just now, I beat the Galactic Emperor on Play 1, but get this: After taking what chunk of HP he has left with Metal Hero (It's really fun to play as if you yell things like "I'm driven by boiling red hot blood", "And now... THE END!!"), I heard him say "impossible" just before he said "I can't Believe this..... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGHH!!"

I was GE yesterday and when I won by beating Nao, GE said "I can't believe this! Uuuuaaahhh!!!"

It sounded like it was Nao that screamed that.

I've noticed that when using G.E in areas other then Stratosphere the game crashes more often. Plus, when he wins the view always goes dodgy.

I think you have to do something to Galactic Emperor for him to say "Impossible". Maybe breaking his shield and sending his HP to 0 at the same time?

I like G.E. He's pretty cool. Shame there's no 'proper' way to get him in the game.
